He didn't commit to a day for the release of the new guidelines. He was pressed several times by reporters during the press conference yesterday and all he would say is "later this week."

My guess is it will be Friday.

I'm happy to see anything with Avengers campus lol. I was really excited for it to open this summer.

Kind of. I’m from the theatre world (acting dancing and singing) and we don’t “train”. Once we are “cast” or “hired”- it’s maybe two weeks of learning choreography and then show time. This is because in the performance world you’re supposed to be ready to go/ seasoned so to speak. The auditions for disney (which I’ve done before- pretty brutal) are to weed out people who can’t learn stunts/ choreography/ or sheet music super fast. They give things to you that day and if you don’t catch on that day of auditions. You’re cut. So if they’re casting now that means something’s happening REALLY soon. Also Disney is not great at paying their performers, so they rarely get enough prep time for that reason- very short hours. We used to have to go to people’s homes just to practice performances. But I am curious to see what their attempted date is. I’m hoping due to the unusual circumstances they will give these guys A LOT more rehearsal time!

Another fun fact: we learn the real choreography during auditions. It’s learning one demonstration, then once as a group, then you’re called in with other people ( that’s when I was cut) but my two dear friends got the job and it’s literally the same process of “rehearsals” then they start. It’s crazy over there!

Does it seem like off site hotel prices are creeping up? From a couple weeks ago Sept seems to be up a touch on what I’m watching while Oct took a big jump.

(I don’t believe they “know something” I’m thinking they want prices up just in case there is good news this week.)

I've been watching closely, and I'm seeing everything. Some up, some down, some way down, and some unchanged since this all started. October seems to be high across the board, though.

Hotels down the street are still really cheap for December. Just rebooked Embassy Suites yesterday, it's down to 87$ a night for mid December.

I looked at our January dates though and holy smokes. The rates have gone up huge for January.

Is this a recent survey? My pass is technically expired, so I think that is why I haven't gotten any emails.
