I love the sense of anticipation while waiting for one of my favorite shows to start! Look at all the people! (And that's not counting the ones that are ghosting, either!)
ETA: the light in the top right corner is the moon...

WOW! Beautiful :lovestruc :wizard:

Thank you Robert TG, DisneySuiteFreak, Courtney, and Danny !

I know there has been some debate on whether or not people are happy about the change of the sun wheel to mickey's fun wheel, but I completely LOVE it.

I am really enjoying looking at these pics, dreaming of our first trip to DLR. I was wondering if anyone has pics of the crowds? Trying to get a visual of what to expect for our August trip. I remember seeing a pic from Christmas day at WDW and that was the best visual!

When Disneyland first opened you paid for admission and a book of tickets. There were A tickets, B tickets, etc. Each attraction was given a rating (A thru E) and you used the corresponding ticket to go on the ride. E tickets were the premier rides (today they would be Splash Mtn., Space Mtn., California Screamin', etc.) When you were out of E tickets you were out of chances to ride those rides - although presumably you could buy more ticket books. I don't know when Disney stopped using the tickets - I know they were still in use during my first trip in about 1973. Anyway, the premier rides are still sometimes referred to as E-ticket rides - rides that would have taken an E ticket if they were still being used.

Thanks TahoeMom. I should have figured that out since I just bought some old Disneyland booklets on ebay to hang in our rec room (someday when we build). I just saw it posted about the soon to be coming Cars land and the new rides and wasn't sure what it meant. I hope the ride is good.

A new viewing area is planned for the new Water show "World of Color".

What is exciting is seeing that the changes are actually underway!!!

SPECIAL REQUEST
The flowers at The Hub were replanted at the end of April as shown in the picture below. My wife has asked me many times to find out what colors those flowers turned out to be. Can anyone, please, post a recent photo (May 2009) of these flowers? Many many thanks for your efforts.
