Disneyland photo report! june 5th through the 10th.

The joke behind this was for Chris420 and Davey Jones to get a good laugh, because everyone will want to know what it is, but so very few will. They are a little sick like that. I have to admit, those pictures do bring a smile to my face.

As long as Chris420 promises not to kill me, I'll reveal the movie at the end of the trip report.

Part 4 should be up tommorow.

It is working as we all are wondering. OK I am willing to wait but I am going to PM you my guess. :)

Keep up the great report please. Love all the fun pictures.

Yeah, I think I know it now. ;). Not only is this a fun trip report to read, it brought out my inner Velma Dinkley. I love a good mystery.

Chris... those are amazing pictures! I did not know you had all of those on your phone! That is so awesome :worship:

disneynerd420, I was just replying to your post over in the thread Mary Jo started about me being the new mod on the DIS, and I mentioned the film that came to my mind at first glance of the gestures, and this was before I saw the Brian O'Halleran hint on here, but I thought that film wasn't obscure enough and that it must be something else! So I don't know if I am right or not! It was honestly the first thing that I thought of the other day when I saw the pictures with the gestures, and I thought, "No, I must be wrong...I don't know why I thought of that movie...I don't think those gestures have anything to do with it." My friends and I are definitely older than you guys are, but judging by the crowd of people I used to hang with a lot and the friends I have now, I have a feeling your group and mine have probably watched a lot of the same movies!!!!

I'm sorry Sherry, it is not clerks but... it is along the same kind of humor. I really don't think anyone on here has heard of it, but it is a very campy culty type movie. Not too old of a movie either. I would say anyone that enjoys Kevin Smith, or John Waters, or something along the lines of "This is Spinal Tap" would get a kick out of it. I swear that once I get to the end of the pictures, if no one has been able to solve it, I will announce it. So that way everyone can, rent, buy or Netflix it. It is really one of those movies that makes you groan while you laugh because some of the humor is so off color or just plain wrong.

Hint number 2= Green Ranger

Part 4

It seems that Chris420 and I have really stumped some DISers out there. I know what is going to happen, I'm going to tell what the movie is, and everyone will be like "I've never even heard of that movie!". I'm sure hoping some will make an effort to see it though.

Well enough chatter. There's pictures to be shared!!

The next morning, Chris G (Chris420), Davey Jones, and myself headed to Chip and Dales Critter Breakfast at the Storyteller's Cafe. YUM! I love this breakfast! They have great food, and it is a little quieter than Goofy's. Not that I don't love Goofy's, but I don't like to start every morning with plastic pots and pans being banged loudly by small children. I'm not really human until I have had my morning caffeine

Goofy's has better food and characters though.

I love Dale! He has always been my favorite Disney character.

After a wonderful breakfast, with an over indulgence on Bacon, we headed to DL.

(I think bacon should be it's own food group, with several servings a day)

I have been to WDW many times when I was a child, DL numerous times as an adult, but I have never ridden on any of the vehicles on Main Street. We changed that this time. Here we are on the fire truck.

The woman in this picture looks like she was thinking the same thing I was. "The astro orbiter looks horrible there... why don't they put it back on top of the people mover?"

I didn't take many picture throughout the day. It was a very chill day, slow walking, and lots of smoke and snack breaks popcorn::

Amanda, her mother and Chris S, all got to the parks pretty late that day. But they were all exhausted. So, Chris, Davey and myself did the parks on our own that day.

That evening, I finally did something I have been wanting to do for years! We went to the Blue Bayou! Chris S joined myself, Chris G and Davey, for an the experiance. Amanda and her mother opted out due to the price and the fact that Amanda is very picky when it comes to food. Now, i have heard so many mixed reviews on this board, but i thought the food was amazing and our server was out of this world.

Here we are doing the mandatory Club 33 door shots before we went in to Blue Bayou.

P.S. If anyone can get us in, Chris and myself will do whatever you want... ANYTHING! (Don't mean to speak for you Chris, but this might be easier and less painful then trying to dress up like Club 33 servers and sneak in. I don't want to spend my next DLR vacation at the Anaheim PD.)

Look at me... I was happy as a clam. Probably more so, since i did not face an impending steaming and eating.

Davey Jones... not really caring to be social. He was texting.

A little food porn for everyone. (Blue Bayou Surf and Turf) It was very good. The filet just melted in my mouth.

After BB, we headed to the NOS smoking section, for a much needed cigarette. We were all so completly stuffed. Not one of us was able to save room for the cookie boat. *sigh* Next time though!

Here is a random picture outside of Muppets 3D. Which I always enjopy, and will be quite sad when the day comes that they remove it from CA.

Again that is the end of pictures for that day. Each time I go to DL i manage to take more and more pictures each time. I came back with 332 pics this time but I still come back with huge gaps of time lost. I plan on changing that this next time and taking about 500 on my next trip.

Part 5 will be coming soon.

Hmmm....I don't think it's that crazy movie Kevin Smith did about the clown a few years ago, whatever it was called. (I am used to humor that is off color and totally wrong - I am a Howard Stern fan!) John Waters is the bastian of totally wrong humor, however. Pink Flamingos, to name one, is definitely not for everyone!

Great pictures from Storytellers! I have done their character breakfast twice and I can't get into the Brother Bear characters. I am all about Chip and Dale and I can even tolerate Meeko, but I don't care about Koda and Kenai. I will basically just pose with any characters who come by, whether I like them or not! The buffet is better at Goofy's because there are so many more choices. I can roll with the pots and pans AND the rollicking Macarena session because the characters and the buffet are worth it. But Storytellers is not bad, by any means...just a different vibe.

And let me say what I have always said - the bacon at DLR is exceptional! I never eat bacon anywhere else but at Disneyland. It is SO good. I don't know what they do to it, but I could eat nothing but their bacon and their fruit for my entire trip and be happy!:thumbsup2

Hey hey now lets clarify, James will do anything while I videotape:thumbsup2

And hey, the server thing was a good idea, either way we have one heck of a story to tell when we get back

Your thinking of Vulgar, and no, thats not it, Kevin Smith really only had a brief cameo in the movie were referencing.

It is definitely not Pink Flamingos, I own a copy of that and can only bear to watch it if forcing some unsuspecting victim to see it for the first time:sick:

I was an unsuspecting victim once when I was forced to watch Reanimator. I tried to cover my eyes or look away, and someone in the room said, "No! You HAVE to watch it!" I have a weak stomach for some things and not for others, I guess.

Did anyone say Bottoms Up? My friend just suggested that, but I couldn't recall if I had seen that mentioned here already.
