Hello everyone who is still interested and welcome to part 5 of my super fun trip.

Were all of those photos taken from a cell phone?

No, only the ones taken by Chris (chris420) were.

On to the pictures!

This morning, Davey jones, Chris S, Amanda and her mother all decided to sleep in. So Chris and I went to the parks alone.

Chris and I were really excited to see Sleeping Beauty's Castle, since we had only experianced the prerefurb edition.

Just some random carousel picture

We thought that we may be mighty and stout heartedly enough to pull the sword from the stone. We were wrong

We headed over to the matterhorn to ride the FL side, since we had not done that yet.
I told Chris to waive at the camera while we were waiting in line for the matterhorn. We were slightly delusional at this point. What from the sleep depravation, the grueling pace at which we did the parks, and too much partying. I can still say, that despite the horrible way my body felt, this was the best DL trip yet.

This was our "we are tired, and this is our first cigarette break of the day" pose.

We stopped off in New Orleans Sqaure and took in the sights on the rivers of America for a while.

The columbia was docked that day. It made me sad. I wanted to ride.

We were still not that interested in going to Tom Sawyer's Island, so we just watched the rafts float away. We waived... some waived back.

We then decided that we had had a long enough of a "sit and do nothing" break. I decided that I had to hit up one of my favorite attractions, and get the next item on my snack list. This item I had never had, but had heard so many people rave about on the boards.

Can you guess the two?

Tiki Room and a DOLE WHIP FLOAT!

As you can see in this picture... I approved!

Chris loved it too. We are die hard fans of these things now!

That's it for part 5. Part 6 will be up by midnight tommorow, at the very latest. It will more than likely be up tonight after I get back from the waterpark with Chris.

Part 6!

I have decided that with these next few pics, I'm just puting up the best from the lot. Mostly due to the fact, that I have a ton.

Over in the queue for TOT. When I reminded Chris that the chalk circle was the gateway to another dimension from the episode "little girl lost" he had to have a picture.

We took our afternoon break and after some relaxing, headed back to DL, this time with Davey Jones. Amanda, Chris S and her mother were already there.

By this point the park was pretty busy.

We decided to Roger Rabbit, since Chris and Davey had not been on it before.

Look how crazy busy the parks were!!

So back to california adventure we went!!

We met up with Amanda, her mom, and Christie.

The next morning, on our last day, we almost did not go to Goofy's kitchen. It was originally was suppossed to be the entire group, but it ended up being only Chris S, Chris G, and myself. For one reason or another, everyone else could no longer afford it or just could not get out of bed.

Here I am on the ART, looking pretty tired and kind of scruffy. I hate shaving on vacations. It seems so unnecessary.

Disney works fast! This was not here just 7 hours ago.

Almost didn't go to Goofy's Kitchen??? I am lucky that I have one friend who really likes it there as well, so even if everyone else abandons us, we will still eat at Goofy's on every trip. In the past I have brought grouchy curmudgeons there who were certain they wouldn't like it, but soon enough they were hugging characters and chowing down on the buffet with the rest of us. Their resistance was futile!

I love that chalk outline for "Little Girl Lost." That's one of my favorite Twilight Zone episodes - though it was such an amazing series anyway it is hard to choose favorites (but "Night Gallery" was almost, almost a better series!).

I don't think anyone lost interest in your TR. I find that what happens with TR's (like mine and others I have seen) is that people comment a lot at first, and then feel they have run out of things to say so they just keep reading and following along silently. I have been guilty of it myself! But I like to know who is out there at all times!! A roll call or head count of sorts.

Well, I'm glad to hear that. I thought that might be the case.

But in regards to Goofy's Kitchen it think it has two hardcore fans out of me and Chris G. I sincerely hope they never turn it into something else.

Part 7

With a slightly smaller group than originally planned, we made our way to Goofy's kitchen. We were excited and starving, but desperatly exhausted. Our legs hurt, our feet hurt, we were tired and I had a blister the size of texas on my foot. On the outside we looked like crap, but we were sqealing with glee on the inside.


I love the fact that if you go back to the begining of this TR, you can watch Chris420's pin collection grow. From none to like 13 or 14.

I was so happy to get a picture with PLUTO!

Dale has always been my favorite though!

I'm not quite sure why I struck this pose.

Little more food porn.

I want to recreate this. PB&J pizza is such an amazing idea. I love Goofy's!

Chris S was not a very good photographer. He missed Baloo's face.

I know that after eating a big meal it is normal to get sleepy, but come on Chris! We are going to Disneyland!

Just wanted to get a buffet shot. When I go in sept, I will be sure to take more food pictures.

After breakfast smoke. It was needed.

It looks like Mickey's hand is on my head. I love that HM shirt I bought while I was there. Such a cool shirt!

After finishing our smoke... we headed to the monorail.

There he is sleeping again. I know the monorail isn't that exciting, but that is no reason for you to be sleeping Chris!

We disembarked from the monorail and headed off to enjoy DL.

Only to see this guy's awesome hawk!!!

Great pictures at Goofy's - it makes me miss Goofy and his pals and I can't wait to get back there next month. I can see now that there is definitely an 'early morning breakfast cast of characters' at Goofy's, a late morning/brunch crew (which may have most of the same as early morning with a couple extras thrown in) and a dinner crew, which usually is a bit different (including Captain Hook and the Genie and all sorts of fun characters).

Did the guy with the awesome 'hawk know you took his picture? That is some pretty impressive hair!

I love your Haunted Mansion shirt - did you get it at Le Bat en Rouge (by the Haunted Mansion)?

In regards to the awesome mohawk. He did know. I actually flagged him down, complimented him and asked him to strike a hair pose. He said he gets it a lot. I've never grown a mohawk, but I've had a lot of friends with them, so I can appreciate a mohawk that is done well.

The haunted mansion shirt is cool, thank you. I actually got it in World of Disney right inside to the right when you go through the closest entrance to La Brea Bakery.
