Disneyland Paris

I have been to DLP twice, and while I think its a great experience, I cant imagine needing to stay there for more than one day. Both visits we did both parks in one day, and we walked away both times feeling like we had done it all. Dont get me wrong, the parks are awesome and we will certainly return, its just not a 'destination' to me. There are very few places I would rather be than Disney, but in this case, I'd rather be in Paris.

I stayed at the Sequoia Lodge August of '08 on points. While the resort was very nice, and I enjoyed the parks, I did have an issue with housekeeping. As I was staying 5 nights, and had just come off a very jam packed bus tour of Europe, I wanted to take it easy, enjoy the parks at my own pace, and hey, if I wanted to sleep in, sleep in. During my trip, housekeeping opened my door unannounced 5 times (to check the minibar, to restock something missing from the minibar & to clean the room)! I tried to tell them I didn't need the room cleaned, but they were insistant it was done. Even though I had the secondary lock on the bottom, they were still able to use their key. Thank goodness they had the bar across the top, as there was one occasion where I had just stepped out of the shower. This was pretty unnerving as I was travelling alone.

I went to the front desk to complain, and was passed around. No one seemed to care, and I was told I was inconveniencing the maids by not letting them do their job. I finally had enough when one guy started questioning why I was travelling alone, and asked if I was a model or an actress. I was like "Do I look like a flippin model? No!" and stormed off, lol.

Given this, I would give the park another try, as I really liked DLP, but next trip won't be solo!
