Disneyland Hotel

Any advice on which tower might be best (Adventure, Fantasy or Frontier tower) and why?
Look at a standard room. Thanks in advance.

We like Frontier because it's more secluded and feels more relaxed, yet it's still just a very short walk to the pool/slides area, the hearth, Trader Sam's, etc. Plus the giant model of Big Thunder in the lobby is awesome. Very awesome. Freaking awesome.

I called and just requested that we get a room with two beds and the fold out couch since my kids aren't too keen on sharing a bed with each other. I don't really have a preference to which tower we stay in... Okay well I do but I will happy with whatever we get!

The towers are pretty close to each other so it's not a big difference which one you wind up in. My last stay there we were in the Fantasy tower and I wound up with a gorgeous view of the pool. The stay before that we were in the Adventure tower which made for easy and quick access to Downtown Disney. Whichever tower you wind up in, definitely pop into the first floors of the other towers. There are some really cute touches like the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad model in Frontier, the Jungle Cruise animal moquettes in Adventure, and the tea cups you can sit in at Fantasy.

It's funny. Whenever I asked for a certain room at a Disney resort and got it, I was disappointed (Port Orleans-Alligator Bayou/Animal Kingdom Lodge). When either I requested a room and didn't get it or just didn't request at all, I was pretty happy with what I got (fireworks views at French Quarter/Coronado Springs, Dalmatian area at AllStarMovies, upgrade at Caribbean Beach). When we stayed at Paradise Pier, I just asked for a room with a couch and got a room where we could watch my son go down the waterslide 80 times. So I guess I won't ask for anything special for our stay next week.

That has been my experience as well. I am not one to make requests as far as which room, etc. This last trip we were staying at the DLH and it was a surprise trip for my DD's birthday. Unfortunately, they had us in a king room (2 adults) and when we checked it the CM was laughing about it. We were given a standard room in the Fantasy Tower and could watch the fireworks from our room. Loved it!

Ah, I wish I had read this thread before making my room requests. I requested Adventure or Fantasy (because I read many Frontier standard rooms are smaller (?) and we require a daybed) but it sounds like Frontier would suit us too...in fact, other than low floor looking at parking, it seems we will be pretty happy with any view!

I was in the Adventure Tower when I stayed in December. I was upgraded to an amazing room. I was on the 5th floor, right next to the elevator (no noise whatsoever) but an AMAZING view of the pool.

We've stayed in the Adventure Tower ad Frontier Tower. Both times paid for the view. The Adventure view was terrific; we had a nice view of DTD and could see the fireworks. The Frontier room was comfortable, but the view sucked. Premium view for that room was the top of the parking structure next to the Fantasy Tower, and the slides which were closed for repair. I was not happy about the parking lot view, not for having paid extra.

It was still a wonderful stay, but that should have been a standard room.

Thank you all for the great responses! GoBears 1980, thanks for linking the DL thread. :)

I had requested Adventure and got Frontier. We had the two queens and daybed room and we thought it was huge. We all loved being just a touch more out of the way. I'd actually request Frontier next time.

Only complaints I have is there was NO hot water in the morning and the wi-fi stinks....

Thankfully we didn't notice either of those things when we were there in February.
