Newbie here, so forgive me if this isnt the correct spot for this thread. :)

FI and I are getting married October 20th and we're heading to Disneyland (and surrounding area) for our honeymoon. We're both super excited. He's from NorCal but hasnt been to Disneyland in probably 10 years. I'm an Oregonian and have only been once for half a day about 15 years ago (and it rained the entire time). We're planning on driving down (starting on 10/23) making a pit stop half way to stay with his dad for a night then continue the next day.

We've book our room at the Holiday Inn Express Placentia. We also plan on getting City Passes so we can catch everything else in the area too. We'll be headed home on November 1st.

So I guess what I'm looking for is any tips or suggestions for newleyweds and basically newbs to the disney expierence? We really want to make the most of our vacation. I purposely made sure we'd be down there over Halloween because I knew there'd be some fun stuff going on during that time.

TIA for all your help :flower3:

They have cute bride and groom mouse ears!!!!!!!!!

Also intersted in this... bump bump:jumping1:

Isn't this what a honeymoon is about?:rolleyes1(sorry).

We spent the first 2dys in San Diego,(lots-o-fun). When we got to Anaheim, the strike of '84' was just getting started. The CMs were very cool about it though.
It was my new wifes first trip to DL,(my 17th). We didn't do anything 'special' except go bowling,(I know,weird).:sad2:

How about making reservations at some of the nice restaurants? DH and I are taking a trip to DL for our 10th anniversary, we plan to do the following (we have never been to DL before but have been to WDW and DLP a few times)
Eat at Blue Bayou
Eat at Nappa Rose
Do the Fantasmic desert seating
Do the DCA segway tour (we loved the segway tour at wdw)
Do the walk in Walts footsteps tour
Make sure we use photopass so we get lots of photos with both of us in
Get the anniversary buttons from city hall (you can get the newly weds ones)
If you are unsure about the parks I recommend reading as much as you can before you go (the tips in the stickys at the top of this board are really useful, especially Hydroguys ones).
