Hey all!

Has any of you been to the Disneyland Golf?
Is it far from the parks/ is there a shuttle to the golf? Do they sell Disney-related golf items at the shop?
(OK, I admit, if they don't sell golf items with Mickey on it, I don't care how easy I'll get there, since I won't be taking my golf equipment with me this time, nor do I feel the urge to loose half a day of my park hopper's worth by going to play golf! ;) )

We called in JUne and got there using our car. I don't know if any Disney transport goes. We went because youngest DS wanted to go , he's 13 & into golf. He was very dissappointed, it was very formal & not child friendly. We went to the shop as he wanted club covers but they only had Winnie Pooh which he refused to buy! He came away with a few DLP golf balls as pressies for his friends. We must have only stayed 15 mins at the most.

But he'd wanted to visit all holiday, so we did

I played one of the 9-hole courses about a year and a half ago.
The course was very nice and well kept, but the staff are less than friendly.
Unlike other parts of DLP, they were also reluctant to speak English, which lead to a bit of confusion.
They decided that there were no tee times after 1pm so we could only play during the morning. This was extremely annoying as I had booked the tee times up weeks in advance to tie in with our holiday.

However, it is worth playing, but don't expect PGA championship stuff (although not bad).

Thank you all for your answers. I don't intend to play golf right now at DLP. According to my pro, I'm a "salon player" (well, if it's humid outside, I look like a big ball of fur thanks to my hair, yes, just like Koda, and I don't like to play in the cold wet wintertime. ;)

I just wanted to know if it was worth to take a look for the shop, you know, to get golf equipment with Mickey on. I know, I'm a sucker

Apparantly, it's not really worth it (I already have Disney golf balls), so I think I will not spoil valuable park time on going to the golf. I'll just spoil my park time for Panoramagique, if it's not too cloudy.
