I do no know if any one who is going will see this or not but I an not remember what time the lunch is at carnation cafe today.

Amanda -- The schedule on page 1 of this thread shows lunch for Carnation Cafe is @ 2:40 today. Darn, sounds like it might be too hot to enjoy the Baked Potato Soup...better just go straight for one of the ice cream sundaes instead!

I am sitting here so very jealous of all of you! I wish I could have gone. That group picture looks awesome!

I am hoping the next ladies trip is before Aug 21. (that is when my ap expires and I have to go back to work).

Here's a few other tidbits for those of you waiting for news:

our fearless leader--Beth--did a surprise drop-in thanks to her wonderful husband -- I'll let her tell the entire story because it is a special one (just have the hankies ready)

Lynn (Disneygirl4eva) got Dream Ears on Friday during the VIP tour-- she decided to take a water break while the rest of the group went on HM and while on her water break the Dream Squad came by and dreamed her!

Several ladies got Dream FastPasses yesterday first thing in the morning by the castle . . I remember MamaKate and 21Yankees were two of them . . . but I think there were a couple of more too.

as some have already reported, the VIP tours were great (especially the Lily Belle)--the only suggestion I would have for anyone planning to do this (which I think Mary Jo or Jill might have suggested too) is have an agenda for what you want to do . . . . the VIP Tour is not an organized "tour" per se, but really facilitation of what you want to do (although NOT front of the line access). To use the time to its best advantage it would be good to have a list of what you want to accomplish and go over it with your guide at the beginning to let him/her tell you how best to accomplish what you want to do.
For me, the Lily Belle and the arranged seating/areas for Fantasmic and the Pixar parade were the best part. (I didn't do Fireworks because so many wanted to do them Fri. night and I'm local so can see them anytime). I think if I were to do this again I would see about arranging special time with Characters or something (and would definitely do this if I had kids with me.)

the one thing I learned this weekend is that there just isn't enough time to do all you think you want to do. Although I left this morning I had grand plans for seeing Billy Hill again and yesterday really only went on one ride (Soarin) at 9:55 p.m. because I spent most of the day hangin' with the ladies and chatting. I did see the Pixar parade and a group of us did the Festival Wine Tasting and watched the Electrical Parade.

having the matching t-shirts is a great plan because it makes it easier to find each other. Sometimes I would go off on my own for a bit and then meet up with another group when I saw their shirts and "hang" for a while. Even then, there were a couple of ladies (Capri, Bernice, Megan) that I didn't really get to talk to hardly at all because we were all going in different directions.

Ok--so can I just say I can't wait for next year? It will be so much fun, especially now that I've met a few of the ladies and they all won't be new faces.

Some of the girls on the 4th floor told me that the hotel had a guy going around to all the Dis ppl's doors and placing the large green mickey ears on their doors. (they caught him sitting and taping the backs of them...lol

I thought that was very cool of the hotel!

That was so cool! Michelle (Zoemakes5) made those and then the hotel staff put them up on the doors.

Thanks! He's doing a little better each day. Had a big seizure yesterday morning, and the wonderful hubby I have, took the day off to stay home with him because he knew how excited I was to go to lunch & the tour. Thats kind of why I headed home a little earlier then planned

Aw, poor guy. That's so sweet of your DH. So were you at the fireworks Saturday night??? Did I meet you?? Shoot, by that night my brain was fried from the heat and the crowds.

It was so fun, but now I'm wondering if I dreamed the whole thing.

I'd love to do a ladies only trip one day...hmmm...I have 2 sisters-in-law (are you lurking yet??? ...one is planning a trip for next year and I directed her here!)

OMG! Beth is here in California at California Adventue. I just met her. How cool is that. She said no one knows she's here yet. She trying to get a hold of you ladies so answer your phones.

Hi! I waiting for the electrical parade in DCA. I had dinner at the House of Blues with the Ladies tonight. We had a blast!

The dinner was fun! And yummy too.

Looks like y'all are havin' a blast! So jealous- keep cool- heard it's HOT down there right now!

UGH! It was hot. I heard today they are supposed to break record temps!! I sure hope not.

Found more of the diva girls tonight on board the train. Best of all I got to catch Fantasmic with them even though I had two of my daughters in tow. Was so fun to put faces with names! Now if we can just get through another cooker of a day!!! It is so hot!!!

Hi Cheryl! It was great to meet you!! Yes, it was a little rushed. I wanted to make sure I had time to meet as many of the ladies as I could. I had to cram a 5 day trip into one day!!

Hankies? I don't know about that. LOL But it was a surprise!

I was posting here until late Friday night thinking I wasn't going. Went to sleep around 1 a.m. only to be woken up by my DH when he got home from work at 3 a.m.

I was totally out of it as he's standing there telling me he arranged to have Saturday night off, and for his parents to come to our house (they live in CA but were already in town, so they just stayed longer) to watch the kids.

He said pack some clothes, I'm taking you to Disneyland. This was me: Huh??

So that's what we did! We finally got everything together and left Vegas around 6 a.m., he drove the 5 hours to get there, and dropped me off while he went to the hotel he'd booked to finally get some rest after working all night and then driving.

I found some of the ladies, and was able to hang out with them all day, and go to some of the activites and meals they had planned. They so very kindly fit me in. Everyone was so nice, and friendly! And lots of fun. I had a great time!!

I was even able to meet up with my DH later that evening. After he rested he went into the parks to put to good use some of those single rider lines, and watch Fantasmic with me before we called it a day.

I would have loved to stay another day, but we had to head home early this morning since he had to be back at work tonight.
But I am so happy I got to go, and surprise everyone. And get surprised myself!!

Which one? I have 3 girls, ages 7, 7, and 11. And my son is 13.

Now you know I am always ready to plan!! Although we were thinking sometime when it's cooler. Like January for example! And this time, you must come. I thought about you when I was there and wished you'd been able to make it as well.
