I was at DL on Friday and saw two different Dis ladies groups getting VIP tours. (Or did I see the same group twice?) I would have said something if I knew any of you but I'm too new here!

It looked like you all were having a great time!

There were 30 of us, and we were broken into three groups, so you saw two of the three.

No when I looked over the list I missed her name so please disregard my blindness! I'm sorry you did have her down.

I met lulubelle today! I knew I would find someone in a diva shirt! Yeah.... Best of all.... we got DREAMED!!! Hooray! Ears coming out of good ole Snow White at about 1pm! The fun continues!!

Hi! I waiting for the electrical parade in DCA. I had dinner at the House of Blues with the Ladies tonight. We had a blast!

Here is a group shot from the kick off of the VIP tour, in front of the castle.
We had a great lunch at Blue Bayou and really enjoyed our tour group today. I headed home this evening, a little earlier then planned, to check on Parker and the family....but just wanted to share the picture for those waiting for news! I think everybody is having a ball!

Found more of the diva girls tonight on board the train. Best of all I got to catch Fantasmic with them even though I had two of my daughters in tow. Was so fun to put faces with names! Now if we can just get through another cooker of a day!!! It is so hot!!!

The VIP tour was AMAZING. We had three tour guides, so we broke off into three groups. I was in a group with Leslie, Shelley, Mary Jo and others (I'm horrible with names!). Our tour guide was JD - he was INCREDIBLE. He's been a guide for 8.5 years and he knows so much. He was very excited to learn that we all knew so much about the park - he kept saying "Do you know about this? What can I tell you about this?"

Lets see, first we went on HM - he told us some really cool stuff about the imagineers who made the ride. He took us around back to see a "secret" pet cemetery and we got right on - no waiting! Then we went on Pirates (also no wait). THAT was awesome - we had our own boat and JD came with us, so he was chatting with us about the ride and such. He is Johnny Depp's personal tour guide, so we heard some great stories!

Then we road the Lilly Belle. This was so great - JD is such a Walt lover - you could really see how much he loved the Disney family - he spoke with such pride about Walt and Lillian.
What else did we do.....We road the storybook boats - JD rode with us and told us about the ride and the movies it showcases. We also saw a bit of the Golden Horseshoe Show

JD really catered to our interests - we told him that we could do rides any day - we wanted to hear his stories, so we spent a lot of time wandering around the park just talking about different attractions, or Disney history. He told us about upcoming attractions and changes to the park. He loved telling us about the times he's met Julie Andrews (he is her personal guide) She's clearly his favorite Disney actress!

He had to leave about a half hour before the tour ended, to go on break, so we briefly had another guide (thats when we watched the Golden Horseshoe show) but then we met back up with JD. He gave us a parting gift - these "passports" that were originally made for a guided tour in the 90s that was only done once and then discontinued. They have lots of cute trivia about Walt and the park. He also showed us this binder full of plans for the new CA - everything looks AWESOME.

JD was so amazing and so worth the money. He really loved making magic. Every time we walked by someone with a birthday button he'd call out a cheerful "Happy Birthday!" He also would stop and pick up any litter he saw and deposit it in the trash - you could really tell he took pride in the parks and their history!

The other tour groups probably had completely different experiences - but I hope they were just as amazing! It was so great to meet everyone!
