Disneyland Divas working out, getting healthy, and looking fine in '09!!

Well, ****. This is so totally ****ed up!!!! Yes, I am cursing and hoping the sensor or whatever the hell that thing is, blocks it out.

I have been so good this week. So many times I had cravings and I managed to avoid them. I felt good knowing I was back on track. I was looking forward to tomorrow because I just knew I'd have a nice loss.

In fact, I was so excited and so sure, that I decided to sneak a peak at the scale tonight. Start the celebration early. :cool1:

So I hopped on the scale............looked down.............and low and behold I GAINED a half a pound from last Friday!!!!! What the ****????????? :mad:

****!!!! I was so mad, I went downstairs and scarfed down 4 bags of cookies. Yep, four bags. You know those lunch sized kids bags? I wolfed down four of those. I'm not even sure I tasted them, and I know they weren't good and not worth the calories, but I was just so mad, and frustrated.

I was good all week. Why, why, why did I gain??? :guilty: I hate this stupid weight loss ********!!!

Yes, I'm pissed. Sorry. I just had to vent before I started screaming at anyone within earshot. And now that I'm done being mad.....I just want to cry. :sad1:

Oh, Beth! :hug: Don't you know that weight fluctuates throughout the day? It is always best to weigh yourself in the morning after you relieve yourself. At the end of the day your weight can be totally off because of food and water.

Try again tomorrow morning. Do you have any fiber or metamucil. I find taking those everyday not only keeps you "regular" but aids in weight loss.

Cristabel is right, don't weigh yourself at the end of the day. I always weigh more in the evening, usually 2lbs more. :scared1:
I hope you have your cravings satisfied now. ;)


I gained a pound this week. Can't say that I don't deserve it, because I do! I'm hoping to get in some exercise this weekend, and hopefully some better results next week!

I weighed in again this morning and lost a teeny, itty-bitty amount. Last week was 214.4 and this week is 214 even. LOL Oh well.

What can you do? :confused3 I know I made good choices all week. I'm disappointed still, but I'm taking comfort in knowing I did what I was supposed to do. I even drank my water! LOL
Who knows why you lose some weeks and not others. I sure as heck don't! :rotfl:

I guess all I can do is get back on track and hope for better numbers next week. :wizard: Have a great day everyone and good luck!!! :cheer2:

Thanks! Don't mind me. I have to rant and rave now and then or I go nuts. :lmao: But I'm still on track and am one measly pound away from losing 50 lbs, so now way am I stopping now. :)


Cristabel was the one who did the fruit flush. I'm sure she'll fill you in. Sorry about your bad week. Hang in there!! :cheer2:

I wanted to check in with everyone.

I've been doing pretty good with my weight loss. I've lost 3 pounds in the last two weeks, which isn't a lot, but at least it's going in the right direction.:goodvibes

I've now lost a total of 18 pounds since the first week of October.:thumbsup2
On the bummer side of things, I seriously need a vacation! I can't take the stress anymore! (Family stuff - why are family members such a pain in the behind? And why is it they constantly come to me to help and solve their problems?! I swear, if I had a quarter for everytime my older brother messed up.....:sad2: )

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Friday. And BETH, don't get so down on yourself. You're doing terrific!:cheer2:

Yes the fruit flush really works! I lost 7lbs in one week! It's hard because the first day is mostly liquid until dinner and then the following two days are fruit only.

I wrote out the basics from the book I have by Jay Robb. Here's the link to my WISH journal (which hasn't been updated in awhile:rolleyes1)

I went to the gym this morning and did a weight class. Haven't done my long run yet, as my foot is bothering me. I might go and see a podiatrist. I've got to get this sorted out so I can run with no worries.

Not sure about my weight. Yesterday I was up .5 lb. This morning I'm down a lb. Basically, I think I'm about the same and I need to get a new scale.

Not a WISH friendly day here at all!! I had lunch with two of the ladies going in March. We went to CPK for pizza. It was sooooo good, but no doubt soooo bad for me. And then it was off to Chuck E Cheese for Noelle's b-day, so more pizza followed by cake and ice cream!!

Oh well. Tomorrow is another day, and time to get back to business.

I did my five mile run yesterday. That felt nice! Eating hasn't gone stellar, but oh well. I need to get to the store to fill the house up with healthy foods.

I have fallen off the bandwagon and just sat on the road to wave it goodbye.

My eating is some of the problem (too much soda, sweets, CARBS!) but I think my apathetic feeling towards weight loss right now will be the death of me.

I don't have the will power to go to the gym. I will try my hardest to get there tonight. If stupid TOM wasn't here I would be swimming but it is so I guess I'll have to stick to the elliptical or treadmill. I stick with 30 minute workouts because any longer and I'm BORED. I get sick of the gym so easily, it's not even funny.

With 30 minutes on the elliptical I can burn 400-500 calories, which is a nice deficit since my eating this past week was rather good. I had a sugar-free NO FEAR energy drink.......GROSSS! That makes me want to stay away from energy drinks all together. But at home we have the Hansen's natural soda and it's so good but it's 150 calories of can of NON-beneficial sugar.

I made dinner today. It's chicken with rigatoni pasta, diced tomatoes and garlic/basil tomato sauce. It's very yummy and I only had one serving. Breakfast I had a bowl of honey bunches of oats, my favorite!

This slump has been going on for 1 month! Ever since I got sick I was out of commission for 3 weeks and I gained 5.5lbs. This past week I ate well, brought my lunch to school:goodvibes, and didn't have too much soda. This past weekend....well it was bad.

Saturday - quesadillas & soda
Sunday - donuts, pizza and cake

Yeah.
I need to get back in the game because this is when I make the change. THIS is when I become a different person. This is when I get to be happy.

Sunday was CPK pizza, Chuck E Cheese pizza and b-day cake/ice cream.
Today was Claim Jumper! If any of you have ever eaten there, then you know they are known for their comfort food and huge portions. :eek: And their yummy desserts, which I did NOT stay away from. :sad2:

I'm feeling pretty blah right now. I need to get back to my water and some fruits and veges. Thanksgiving is next week! Yikes. I'm beginning to wonder if I should just aim for maintaining through the holidays instead of trying to lose. :confused3

But I've at least got to keep trying!!! Wait up band wagon! Cristabel and I are coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

With Thanksgiving next week I'm kind of scared but I'm determined to do the fruit flush this Wed-Fri. That should jump start my weight loss again. Then I won't over eat at Thanksgiving...that will be a first!

Ok Beth, I'm running back to the bandwagon with you!

Just think about those bathing suits you'll be wearing in March. Settling for maintenance is NOT an option! You've got goals and DON'T settle for less! You have worked way too hard not to keep it up.

I have just a few things to say :mic:
-You can get Hanes' soda sugar free and it's good!
-Turkey and cranberry aren't fattening. There are even low fat pumpkin pie recipes! We will survive Thanksgiving.
-Exercise can be fun! Join a class if you're losing self motivation...always a good way to soak up the energy of others to keep you going!
-Put a picture on the wall of what you want to look like. Write down three reasons you want to lose weight and get healthy and post those on the wall, too. Make that vision board and look at it every day. It works!

I just reached down and SWOOPED you back up on this healthy train! We've got places to go ladies. :car: Places that are way better than a few cellulite enducing goodies. Put on those jeans you want to fit into! Try on that new bikini you want to wear in March! Strive and thrive! Don't settle for less! There is more to shoot for!!

I'm going to cut you a little slack and chalk this talk up to sugar induced temporary insanity. But I want you to give yourselves a little kick in the you know what :headache: and get back on the bandwagon! We are not leaving without you!
