Can I purchase the Disneyland dinning plan if I rent DVC points like you can at WDW?

Disneyland's dining plan is different, from what I've heard it's basically a voucher system that does not save you money, just prepay. DVC does not offer it to members.

In addition to the above, if you do not spend the full amount of the voucher's cost you do not get change back. As the PP said, skip the dining plan at DL and pay out of pocket.

BTW, if you have a AAA card it will get you discounts at almost every DL restaurant, including counter service locations.
