Disneyland 70th speculations and news

It’s been $30/day on a 3d ticket for awhile. What’s the price on the summer ticket?
They have not indicated what that is yet. I suspect on 3/11 when the 70th offer tickets go on sale that we will know. I expect 90 dollars or more.

I know these special tickets have limited reservation availability. Does that still apply if you are staying on site? (So will reservations come from the special ticket bucket or the hotel guest bucket)

ETA: never mind, after doing the math it seems like the prices are barely any better than what you can get from resellers. It seemed like a great deal until I realized I was comparing the cost of a ticket without LL to one with. Oops!

There is a third party site that currently has adult tickets at kids prices

3 day park hoppers with LL is $570 with the sale

3 day park 1 park per day tickets with the special 70th prices and after adding park hoppers and LL it’s $551

So that’s a nice savings. Especially because those adult tickets at kid prices are only good to buy until 3/10

Unless I’m figuring this out wrong, correct me if I am….

it's a good offer for me, I'm from Australia so never qualify for any discounted tickets.
I already have 3 day one park with LL tickets for May but I got them with Get Away Today, they told me that once the new tickets go on sale if they're cheaper they will sort it out for me and give me a refund if any is applicable - great service!!
I'm thinking of removing my Knott's day and doing 4 days at DL instead - I don't want to miss any of the shows, parades etc

The ticket offer has me reconsidering - originally planned to get 3 day parkhopper. But the 4 day no hopper would be less overall. The extra hotel night was already planned as a free night anyways.

What to do, what to do?!?!

Do we think they will still release a summer ticket offer like last year or is this it?

I wasn’t expecting any discounts this summer so I’m happy with the news. We can save a little money but it’s not such a good deal that it would make the parks more packed.

No this offer is it.

DD14 loves Duffy so that parade will be a must-do on our August trip. Some of our best WDW memories with her when she was at the magical age of 6 were with the Duffy in World Showcase.
MY 17 yo DS is a Duffy lover too. Still sleeps with his Duffy bear "close by". He is going to flip when I tell him. But he probably already knows since he stays more on top of Disney stuff then me.

I wonder if the tickets can be upgraded to a magic key that wasn’t valid during the dates (like the cheapest key)

How many nights are week should we expect to have fireworks in June?

I generally always choose 1 day more vs parkhopper. However, this trip we are doing 4-day parkhopper instead of 5-day for the first time (my kids are getting older so hoping we can do longer days) so we will see if I change my mind.

Get Away Today had a discount on top of the 70th anniversary sale, so I got tickets for our trip. About $400 cheaper for our family than the "normal" price.
But not combined

Get away today is adult tickets at kids prices
What do you mean by “on top” of?

Did you get your barcode on your ticket so you can link to your disney account? I bought 2 tickets for DH and I and it's not on there. Thanks, Candy

Wow, their tickets are much less than I had estimated for 4 day park hopper with LL. I’m just hesitant to pull the trigger in case our plans change and we can’t go this summer. Im not sure if these special tickets retain value if they expire?
