You have a MK, right? May 16 is fully booked for Disneyland. If you think you want to go that first weekend, I would book a reservation sooner than later.

Thank you, yes I got one of those. I would have gotten the Friday date but...I can wait a day for one new show (yes yes...others shows are coming but only one real new show which is WOC)

As well as Paint the Night.

As well as Paint the Night.
I meant new as in new shows we have never seen

Paint the night and the fireworks are cool...but not new.

Friday is booked so plenty of people will be there but I just don't need to take work off for one new WOC show, but I will take off in July to celebrate the parks birthday (also normally on days like this Bob Gurr and Tony Baxter show up) so that one feels more worth a day off work

This ticket offer is much more expensive than the So Cal current ticket offer....3day for $199.

But it’s cheaper for non-SoCal residents to visit.

Seems like the trend has long been to offer resident pricing during slower periods of the year, and national pricing during busier periods.
Thats true but I think the offer is not as good as I thought it would be.

I wonder how much the upcharge for a park hopper will be for the 70th Ticket Offer.

For reference, a 3d was $249 last year, $299 to go on weekends. So, a $60 price hike for three days. Discounted kids tickets were also available.

The parks are seemingly way busier this year than last. I bet that has a lot to do with the SoCal ticket offer, which is the lowest price in years.

The SoCal ticket is why it is busy now.
The offer for the 70th is ok but not the SoCal offer and I also think the reservation availability for this offer since out of town tourists are eligible will be limited.

The 70th offer has no discounts for children at all.

I also see it is only 90 dollars for park hopper for the current SoCAl offer.
