So DF & I went ring shopping a few weeks ago and found a ring he liked. Since I had my ring from last year when I found it (and I always knew I wanted a blue ring), Nyx wanted a blue ring to match. We couldn't find very many blue rings in any style he liked, so he found a ring & we had the middle stone replaced with a sapphire to match mine and it came out really nice!

We went to pick up the ring last night which got us super excited to go to Disney & get married, so we stopped for ice cream to talk about the wedding plans (YAY)!
Both our rings:
My engagement ring (which needs to be shine-ified soon!) paired with the wedding band:
I love all the rings!
Today was also the day I had a phone session with Danny our planner to discuss our BEO. I love when I get to talk with him! He's so helpful & informative. Our original BEO that included our DP in Japan was $1300 & was way too expensive!!!

So I expressed by concern over the price. In our session today we agreed to take out the charter (I just want to make sure our guests are taken care of after the DP & not have to spend hours on a bus to get back to the resort) and we decided to do one-way transportation instead. This will work because all our guests will be staying at All-Star resorts. I know we can use a Taxi, but going backstage afterwards through Epcot might be fun for our guests! & we'll have a one-way for us back to Port Orleans, so we are using 2 in total. We will meet the event guide at the guest relations at Epcot & they will bring us to our DP in Japan. Photography is also included in our BEO at this point because I'm still waiting to hear back from Randy Chapman for our photography.. We're going to use him but still need to pay him, but before we pay him I had a couple questions, so I'm waiting for his answers to those questions, so until I "officially" book him the DP photography is included (it will be taken out once Randy signs the photog waiver for DFTW). We are planning to use the included Escape photography and swap it out for the DP photography in the end.
Our BEO for the Wedding ($4,750!):
RIGHT ON THE MONEY

Ladies, IT CAN BE DONE..!
BEO for the Dessert Party (currently $1,088.31.. soon to be $788.31 minus the photog previously mentioned):
Anticipated total: $5538.31
On brighter news, I started a new medication & I've been loosing weight~ unintentionally, but who the hell cares! =P I've been struggling with my weight all my life.. I've been up & down, on and off various medications.. I mean just to give you ladies an idea: I was started on 2 medications the summer between my Freshman and Sophomore years & between the two I gained 50lbs by fall!

DF has known me when I was a bit thinner to my heaviest I've ever been (235lbs, YIKES) and he says he loves me for who I am, but I hit a milestone & weighed in (under 200 lbs yaaay) at 199lb the other day for the first time in pretty much 4 years, so it makes me really happy!

But I know I will forever have the curse of flabby-arms (thank you mother lol... I had flabby arms even when I was thinner). ANYWAY /end randomosity...
When we booked Rev Tim Herring as our officiant, DF & I had to talk about the type of ceremony we wanted. The unity candle & sand ceremony are so overdone, so we knew we wanted something different to surprise our guests with. We loved the idea of the wine & love letter ceremony, but as Nyx has heart defects he really can't consume alcohol as it will put too much strain on his heart. We were tossing up the idea of substituting Cider instead, but the more we thought of it, we just wanted the love letter box gosh darnit!

So we found a box we liked at Hobby Lobby.. We're going to stain it, add a lock (somehow), & Nyx will wood-burn our wedding date into it for personalization. We hadn't heard of the love box ceremony until we were looking up unique ideas for a ceremony that were non-religious that we can use and came across it.. supposedly it's becoming more and more popular. For any of you ladies that haven't heard of it the bride and groom write letters to each other explaining the reasons they fell in love, why they choose to marry one another, and the good qualities they see in each other before the wedding day. They then lock the letters in the box with the help of the officiant and are instructed not to open the box unless the couple comes across extreme hardship in the relationship and if not, then they open it to read their letters on their 5th, 10th, 25th or whatever year anniversary they choose (and normally the wine/coffee/cider, etc. will be shared, but we are omitting this as I've said).
Our box (thank you my Abby Bunny for letting us use your cage for pictures lol):
I'll update with the final product! =)
By the way, my mother had surprised me with a new digital camera this past Christmas (since I never ask for anything) & it takes fab pics! Can't wait to go on a wonderful vaca with nice piccies (since the old camera sucks) THANKS MOMMA!
