Has anyone else noticed that DisneyDirect had a better turnaround on delivering merchandise than DisneyShopping?? With DisneyDirect I would have my merchandise in 3-4 days tops. I ordered from DisneyShopping and I won't have my merchandise until 9 days after ordering. I wonder if this has anything to do with DisneyDirect shipping UPS and DisneyShopping shipping FedEx? FedEx is SLOW!!!!!! :confused3

I agree I ordered something and it took about 2 weeks!!!! Also they enevr sent me an email saying they had shipped it so I sent an email to guest services about it and what do you know I finally got it three days later.

Disneydirect.com recently changed their name to Disneyshopping.com, and before that used to be called Disneystore.com.

Are you confusing them with DisneyAuctions or DisneyDeals on ebay??

Same company, different departments. DisneyAuctions and DisneyDeals will tell you that DisneyShopping ships their items. I find that hard to believe since many items received by the ebay sites arrived with no packing material and things were broken half the time. I have hardly ever had that happen with DisneyShopping.........before or after they changed their name.

I order my items from Disneyshopping.com, I usually do not receive items for 10 days - 2 weeks.

If you receive a broken item, you'll have to call them and talk to them about it. Most of my items have arrive intact despite the shoddy packing.

I had to jump thorugh hoops after talking to them by phone to get my $$ back for a broken item. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes and giving the CM all the details, I was required to email the information and a picture of the broken piece and then wait for them to determine if I should get a refund.

The item that was broken was a Peter Pan figure from Disney Deals. I sent the picture with Peter holding his head in his hands. I got my money back!!! :rotfl2:

Sorry, but I am not shopping at Disneyshopping.com again. I thought the "FREE" shipping of pins on Mondays was great -- until this happened to me. Monday, Oct. 14th, I ordered the Scarecrow Stitch pin for $18.95, I know crazy, Huh? But I wanted it, now the pin is 10.95, looks like the "free" shipping wasn't so free at all. I called to complain, and Disney gave me some song and dance -- but I won't order from them again. I am so mad right now I am even considering canceling my reservation for vacation next year at WDW.

I don't blame you for being upset about this. I would call back and speak to a supervisor about the price change. From what I have read on another board, that was their error and the pin was supposed to be $10.95. They should give you a refund........but that doesn't mean they will.

Sorry it happened.
Good luck!

Disney said they made a price reduction on the pin -- won't refund any of my money. So, beware!

When I have ordered an item from Disneyshopping.com and it's been reduced right after I received it, I promptly emailed guest services and got a credit from them. Maybe you could try that way to get a credit - good luck!

Thanks -- I emailed them -- they said no reductions on prior purchases. I love Stitch - I will love the pin.

I've been really lucky with DisneyShopping...I've actually gotten better service from them than I did from disneystore or disneydirect. My latest order I was able to get the free shipping for spending over $50 and I got the disney visa discount with the code and all of my things arrived within about 4 days. I bought 2 ornaments that were packaged beautifully and 2 pins, also well insulated with good packaging. The ornaments (and I think the pins) were on sale in addition to what I got off. I was just SO happy with it all.

UPDATE!!!! I just received an email from Disney

We are pleased to inform you that due to a system error item 96108 was
incorrectly charged. We made the adjustment on your credit card and
apologize for any inconvenience we have caused you.

Way to go Disney!!!! :goodvibes
