Disney YES Program Open to non-groups

DS,16 will be taking a class at Epcot. When we signed up it stated that a parent was not required attend the class but must stay in the park during the class.

His class start time is 7:45AM, the park does not open that day until 9AM. Where do we stay and what do we do?

I'm assuming since the park isn't open yet there is no QS places to grab breakfast. We really aren't interested in the character breakfast either.

I would call the youth program people and see what they suggest. I'm sure this question has come up before to them.

I just bought 8-day tickets a couple weeks ago, and that was the longest available at that time. We got 8-day premium tickets (park hoppers with 8 water park & DQ visits) for about $208 each.

About 10 days. Does anyone know if the mini golf is included in the WP&M ticket?

Edited: I guess its the 9 hole and not the mini golf...

They have up to 8 day rates on the site, however when I called they said a "specialist" could price out longer passes if needed.

Ordered my tickets on 2/11, my card was charged on 2/14, and I received my tickets today.

I ordered 8 day PH w/Water Parks.

Only 102 more days to wait

What's really funny is that my tickets say they are valid from 2/22/11 to 8/27/11 I had my arrival date as 8/10 and my departure date as 8/20, so not sure why the start date was two days ago. Do you think there will be any problem when I get there in August?

I thought it was weird that mine are good from June until August, but wow!

well, that's better than mine... we will be there 06/05 to 06/14, doing class on 06/14 and tickets said valid 05/29 to 06/02. and they're 8-day tickets. Luckily I called Disney and they said to Fedex the tickets back and they'll re-issue them. Of course, I haven't gotten around to doing that yet... reminds me I need to make sure I get to Fedex tomorrow!!

I was told that the tickets should be listed as good for two weeks prior to your first day, and two weeks after your last day.

Also, we must have spoken to a "specialist" OR it was because we signed up for two classes, but we were able to get tickets for much longer than you were quoted.

Yeah, they seem to have screwed up and used the day they were shipped as the arrival date. Actually, last year they were good for one day before arrival until one day after departure.

Just in case I would call. They might be programmed to work for that entire time, but WHAT IF they won't work I would worry myself sick about that.

I spoke to Ashley and she told me that 8 days was the most they could do, so that's what we did.

Where did you hear that?
As far as I knew, they had the same plus options as any other tickets, which includes a round at the 9 hole Oak Trail golf course.

Anyone signed up for ENERGY AND WAVES on AUGUST 22nd for 12-17 year olds?

I am hoping this class gets full registration, because it sounds fabulous!
