Just curious, is there somewhere to check which individual classes are already full? Our first trip to WDW was last October so I'm hoping the next trip includes a class for the girls, maybe one toward Sept/Oct.

Same for us. Placed order last week, received confirmation email, but no charge showing up. I hope everything is okay. I'm not sure if I should call.

I am waiting with you. I have a confirmation for the class but nothing charged to my account. We are going in August.

lol, everyone makes assumptions. I assume you have made many about me, judging from your post.:rotfl: I know it took an act of God, pretty much to find our ticket information while we were there. No one was tracking anything, imo. I had every piece of paperwork, and talked to everyone involved. So, imo, and my assumption is that no one gives a crap about it. I also assume that this means that Disney will eventually make changes, but that is, of course, just my opinon, and an assumption...;)

I have no need to send a pm about anything. I don't have anything to hide. Clarification can be found here for everyone. I am merely asking the question has this actually happened to anyone ever? Ummmm, no.

it hasn't happened? that's a relief....

could it happen, though?
I'd hate for it to happen :scared1:....

wait, what is it that hasn't happened? :confused3 ;)

A few quick questions, because we are ready to bite the bullet and order some tickets for June 14th!

I have a 4-year-old who is too young for classes. Will it be okay to have my older 2 kids enroll in a class, and have one parent attend with them? The other parent will have to stay with the 4yo...

When filling out the form, do I just put "individual Enrollment" down for our group? And when it asks what class we've been approved for, do I just list what I am interested in?

DOes all registration occur online, or can I call and speak to someone about this?

Thanks - I am so excited that we are planning this! The kids don't know this time!!!!!!!!

Neither Mom or her friend are with DVC, we are going through RCI. I know the points scale is different and that's what confuses me. I can not find anything that will give me an exchange rate. Mom's through BG and in theory, we could use her points on a 'nightly' basis.. but the friend is a 'weekly' basis and through a totally different company (but still has RCI membership).

While looking at weekly swaps from RCI to DVC, there is only 1 room open right now.. and its in July. Next exactly when we were wanting to go. We want to go in October. I'm thinking if we go through Mom's RCI we might be able to find something for fewer nights as we didn't intend on staying a full 7 nights in the first place.

I still need to talk to my Dad about how to access his RCI account. They ask me to plan everything, and gave me the access info to his BG account. We both forgot about the other at the time. My mother was confused as well. I was trying to explain to her that her BG points get transferred to RCI points and then you can book DVC that way. (At least that's the way I was told) She was planning to stay right outside of Disney using her points at another resort and we would spend all of our time AT Disney. She can not understand that if would be the same, if not better for us to use the same points and stay at DVC.

Luckily we have a few months and I'm not too stressed. Disney's not announced their promos for the fall and the YES or IE classes aren't available yet either, so there's not a lot I can do but book a room before all that is available.

HI. I sent you a PM. If you have any questions about the RCI, let me know. We traded into a room through RCI last summer. FYI - when you do trade through RCI you have to pay a $95 fee when you check in for use of Disney Transportation. Also, the Disney resorts are A LOT more points than staying off site. Again, if you have any RCI questions, go ahead and PM me. :)

I saw someone selling a week at one of the DVC resorts on eBay. I didn't realize that RCI could do this. On the auction, they charged this fee. I questioned the seller, because I was under the impression that all Disney transportation was free. I wonder if you can decline this charge if you have your own car?

I ordered my tickets on 1/26, got the confirmation 1/27 and today, FEDEX delivered my tickets! I have never done the YES program, so I admit, I had my doubts, but I have the tickets in my hand (paid the $10) to have them shipped to me. HTH.

Sorry for the OT...

RCI doesn't charge it. Disney charges you when you check in. Didn't appear to be anything you could talk your way out of. We had two rental cars for our unit and had to have two parking passes made so we could park at resort, so they knew we had rental cars. I just mentioned the transportation charge to show you don't really save any money with regards to parking fees if you stay on site versus staying off site.
