My boys, Dean & Colin, will be in Synergy in Science on the 13th! Look for the skinny redhead & dirty blonde with shaggy hair. :woohoo: DH, Tony, will attend with them while I take DD to CRT. They're excited about it. Hope everyone has a great time!

We are doing 2 classes on June 13. My friend and her son will be in Synergy in Science while her other son, my son and I do Everyday Chemistry. Got our confirmation today too. They are very excited!:cool1:

:yay: We will see you there. My 10 year old and I will be doing Synergy.
My almost 14 year old and husband will be doing the Capture Moments class on the same day.

Look for the mom who messed up her hair color and the dirty blond boy. Yes, mom looks like she is trying out for Ariel. :rotfl2:

So ... we just decided that we will go to Florida in August for Celebration VI and a quick trip to Disney. :cool1: I jumped onto the Disney Youth in Education Series for individuals for our dates and they are closed! YIKES! What do I do? :confused3 Do they ever have any drops and possibly a waiting list? Do they ever add more classes? Please Help!

So, I guess if we are registered for a class for June 20, we should get our confirmation maybe the end of next week?

Not aware of any wait list you can be put on. But there is the remote possibility of classes re-opening or being added.

Drops are generally unlikely as the tickets are non-refundable.

Hi! I have a question that puzzles me a bit. I just received our YES tickets and my daughters have done some of the classes before. I thought the tickets had our name on them and they don't. Should I print each person;s name on the ticket so we are sure each person uses the same ticket and it matches their finger scan after the first use?
Thanks,
PammyPoppins

YES tickets don't require finger scans.

So what do the Yes tickets look like then? Are they like the paper tickets? Can they not be added to you TTTW card? And if they are different, can they still be used to get Fps? Will they fit into the machine? Sorry, but I am confused as to how they don't need fingerprints. Our first time getting YES tickets will be this Aug. Thanks for your help!

We got tickets through my daughter's dance school. They are printed on the same type of material as an AP (tyvek, i think). I don't think you can add them to your KKTW card. You can still use them to get FPs.

Still so excited to be a part of the Y.E.S program..tickets bought, class enrolled in..now just waiting 4+ more months...:rolleyes1

I did speak to a YES rep today about classes that are closed and the possibility of them being re-opened. He said there is a very remote chance that a spot could become available, and it is in real time on the website.

Since they are non-refundable, the only way this could happen is if they determined someone had a "hardship" and were allowed a refund in an extreme case. So..if by chance this happened in a class you were looking for..and you just so happened to be online when it happened..you could sign up for it. I wouldn't say there's absolutely no chance of it happening....but pretty close :flower3:

Oh, can you please let me know how your experience with Everyday Chemistry is when you get back? My daughter and I are enrolled for that one in July and cannot seem to find much info. Have fun!

They will be given to you on the same media all park-issued tickets are on - Tyvek, which many call "paper" but it's a LOT more durable than that.

They cannot be added to a KTTW card (only standard MYW tickets can).

They can be used like any other tickets, which means they can get FPs, etc. The FP kiosks accept both tyvek and plastic tickets fine. Annual Passes are always Tyvek.

YES tickets are simply encoded to not require finger scans. Just like Child MYW tickets do not require them. For whatever reason, they just don't require finger scans. They are very limited in how long they are good for, so it likely doesn't matter.

I'm so happy!! I talked to someone at YES today. I was able to add on a ticket for my husband now that he's coming with us. The best part.... I didn't have to buy him an 8 day pass like me and the kids have.. I could get him a 4 day premium pass since he'll only be with us for a few days! $168 for 4 days of hopping and water parks! love the YES program!
