Disney World with the In-Laws?

Did you all ride to Disney together or drive separately? Or did you fly together?

We drive in two seperate SUV's for sanities sake. I KNOW my dmil would be nagging my dh about his driving the WHOLE way down if we were all in one vehicle. Also it's easier on everyone since there is usually 7-8 ppl in our group. It makes it nicer to have two vehicles since my dil's can do there own thing if they want whilst we are at the parks.

Our first trip with the in-laws, DH and I flew separately. I believe MIL, FIL and SIL went a day or two earlier than we did. Our second trip, we all flew together because DH wasn't able to come, and they didn't want me flying alone with the two kids.

Both trips, we had separate, but adjoining rooms at the Boardwalk. MIL is a DVC member.

The nice thing about staying on property is that it doesn't matter if people have different schedules. My children are up early, need to eat breakfast right away, and are fed, dressed and ready to go by 8-8:30 AM...at the latest. People who have invited us to travel with them have accepted this (and we still get invited!) and if they aren't ready to go, we just agree to meet somewhere at what some would call a more respectable hour. Conversely, if it is getting late (kids are used to going to bed around 7:30) and they are tired, I have no problem bringing them back to the room while the rest of the party stays.

My parents have gone with us on all our vacations...my in-laws don't "believe" in vacations...waste of money....when we say we are going on vacation we get "the look" but it has always worked out fine with my parents going.
