Looking for some advice on purchasing Park hopper tickets for 7 days. Is it better to go through the DVC Member line or is their a better strategies for getting cheaper tickets?

Thanks in advance.

Michael

UT might still be cheaper with the extra discount from the Mousesavers newsletter - I didn't check. Your link to LMT didn't work by the way - took me to their site, but an error on that page.

When did you get the newsletter. I have been waiting for a discount code to buy our tickets but havent gotten one a while

I haven't gotten a MS newsletter since June - I think something happened to my subscription and I just need to sign up again. BUT ... I still have the June newsletter and the link is the same. I just used it to buy Universal tix from UT with the MS discount.

Sign up again now - the newsletter comes out on the 15th.

There's also Lastminutetravel. Tickets are $289 vs $305 at UndercoverTourist. Both prices include taxes and fees.

I just added a 7day PH to my cart at that site and it shows $289 as the price, but NO TAX added. I couldn't get to a page that showed the final charge because I clearly wasn't going to enter my billing information. But I'm a little leery of any site that isn't charging tax on tickets.

I use UT all the time and find that they have great prices and great service - can't remember for sure - but I don't think they charged tax either - but can't be sure about that - just know they were less expensive.

Taxes are included in the prices UT shows - it says that at the top of the page. The other site may be the same.

Undercover Tourist with the Mousesavers discount is the best option available to the Public. ~7.3% discount when buying 2 Adult and 1 Child 7-day Park Hoppers.

UT by itself was a ~5.3% discount.

However, many large employers offer larger discounts. I work for IBM, and there is a 12% discount for employees, families, and friends of IBMers. I buy through them when I stay on DVC points.

Oops, sorry. You have to click on the Activities tab and then do a search for Orlando (check the box next to Theme Parks).

I checked Undercover Tourist with the Mousesavers discount (298.95) and LastMinuteTravel (289.37) still comes out cheaper. But with the $10 difference, you may choose to go with the more popular Undercover Tourist Option.

Taxes and fees are included in the price. I've used LastminuteTravel before and I can assure you the website is new, but legitimate.

Again it depends on a person's level of comfort. Until LastminuteTravel.com becomes more popular, UndercoverTourist is the better choice for the nervous consumer.

Thanks everyone for the comments and advice. I did go with Undercover Tourist and did save about 8% overall. looks like I can go to one of the restaurants for free ( using the savings) which is always nice.
