Well, while I would like to see it based in Great Britain, Barcelona's a beautiful city and that would be OK with me too.

Looks like San Diego lost out.
We have been saying for ages now, a ship will go to LA.
Looks like Dreams will take over 3/4 night Wonder Cruises
Magic stays on 7 night Caribbean routes
Captain Henry has been talking in private to various people over the last few months that he will take charge of the Dreams and the Wonder would move away to West coast USA, &/0r Mexico. I had a few PM's on this.

I wish that they would replace the Magic with the Dreamwe would like to cruise the new ship but have no interest in doing a 3 or 4 night cruise. It looks like we will be doing the new Carnival Dream next year

I would think Mexico based on their previous cruises. However, if they put both the Wonder and the Magic out there then who knows, maybe both??? Wouldn't that be super cool!!This is awesome. I cannot wait for DCL to come closer to me. Now I need to start saving so I can finally go on one of their cruises! Does anyone have a trip report from those past Southern-California cruises? I'm wondering where the cruise will go to..Mexico, Alakaska, etc?
and about an hour before that post, I posted it on this board...

Dreams replaces the Wonder 3/4 night cruises, thats why the Wonder is going. The ''Mexican Rivera'; part of the schedule out there will be 7 night cruises.
Cool!Great find, as usual.
Interesting that the Wonder is going out West. Maybe they will offer some shorter 3/4 night Mexico itineraries as well as 7 night similar to other cruiselines.
Thanks. That makes the most sense. The 3/4 night Florida cruises, along with the land & sea options, are their bread & butter. It makes the most sense to add the capacity with the newbuild there first.
The new ships would have to do a South American cruise to get to CA!
Is there anything saying that Dreams will "replace" the Wonder's routes? Just because the Wonder is going to the West Coast? Why cant Dreams do the 7 days, Magic take over the 3/4 days? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to put the bigger ship on the smaller route. (At least it doesn't to me)
