OK It's Bragging time. I'm just sooooo proud!!!!

I open the mail today and Emmas ISAT scores arrived.

She ranked 99th percentile in the nation for reading and 94th percentile in the nation for math. Her Lexile score is 1350L which is equivalent to a 12th grade reading level. They don't have a ranking for writing but she scored average. I am just so excited and proud of her!!!

Anyone have any big plans for the weekend? I think I'm gonna do some packing. I know if I save it for the last minute I'm gonna forget some stuff which is no good. Can't believe how close we actually are now. So exciting!!!

Anyway are we still planning on meeting on the secret deck? Wearing our shirts right? Can't wait to see them!!!

My we have a football game this afternoon, taking my my kids to DH's parents for the day, Girl Scouts tomorrow, dinner with friends Sunday night... And, I just want to crash and do nothing. My we have a football game this afternoon, taking my my kids to DH's parents for the day, Girl Scouts tomorrow, dinner with friends Sunday night... And, I just want to crash and do nothing. Oh well, it will all be fun once I get motivated to do it.

Wow you ARE busy! I dont like busy weekends. We usually will go shopping on Saturday morning to get groceries and supplies and it usually takes from 10 to 1. That blows half my day right there. I want to stay in the house the whole weekend. MAYBE once a month go see a movie but I am NOT a big goer on the weekends. My sister is just the opposite. She will run the whole time.

So, I was surfing the boards, and came across a thread on "must haves" when taking a cruise... I went thru and made a list, and thought I'd share in case anyone was interested... Here you go...

1. Gallon Ziploc bags – helps save keepsake items/helps pack damp clothes/etc
2. Small light-up travel clock - if you want to see time if you wake up in the middle of the night
3. Hair dryer - they have in some rooms/not a strong one though
4. Over door Shoe Organizer – use to store items instead of clutter counters/also prevents items from sliding off counters
5. Small can Lysol
6. Wrinkle free spray – if you don’t want to be wrinkled
7. Tide Wipes/Shout pen
8. Highlighter
9. White erase board
10. Outlet strip to for charging phones/ipods/games
11. Plastic cup (especially if you are bringing on your own beverages)
12. A sheet of preprinted address labels – saves you from having to write out the luggage tags for departure/and can use if you mail items
13. Sunscreen
14. Camera/Charger/Extra memory card
15. Travel size first aid kit/meds
16. Candy/snacks for the shows/movies (those aren’t free on the ship, and are pricey)

I dont understand the wrinkle spray. First off, they dont have any irons? I know they ask not to bring irons (which I thought they said the same for hair dryers), but dont they have some available? Downy Wrinkle Free spray... I haven't used it, but have friends that have, and they say it works. Just spray on the garment and shake it out... Mixed reviews on the irons... sometimes cruises have them in the rooms, some don't.

They do have an iron and board in the laundry room. I have used them, not bad. They don't like them in the room as think of them as a fire hazard.
