I have to work today, but then have the weekend off!!! WOOHOOOO!!! That's a big deal for us retail people! I only get one weekend of a month, and this one is going to be spend running all around Portland looking for a house to rent. Ughhhh... Is it sad that I secretly hope we just love the first one enough that I can cancel the rest. I want to relax, as of now, I believe between Saturday and Sunday we have 10 houses to view. UGH!

The District Manager was suppose to call him yesterday for the 2nd interview, hasn't called yet. He is REALLY stressed out. We thought we'd know for sure if he had the job by today, not if he had to interview. It makes it sooo much harder for homes, it's like what if we find one we love...uhhh could you hold this for us until we find out if we are actually moving. No way, they're taking cold hard cash from the first person they can. That is bumming us both out....

Mornin everyone! I woke up at 5:30 this morning so excited about the trip! I have no idea why. I dont even normally get up at this time so I am working on my FE list and making sure I dont forget anyone

Beaverton is where we used to live!!! Well techincally a half a mile outside it.... and that is a small problem, cause that is where I want to move back to, but jobs will be on the other side of town, where I am not so excited to live, and it is WAY expensive... so this morning we are looking at a cool house up in the west hills near downtown, which isn't close to much...but a little more central than living on the east or west side...so fingers are crossed, it would be nice to love the first house and get my days off back!!

So, I finally got up at 5:30 and did some laundry and thought about my FE gifts and what to pack?!! I just got back from the mall as doing a few errands and not I need a nap!

We found a house, we found a house!!! I was soooo nervous, because the thing is, the area that we were looking at is way more than I wanted to pay, and nothing was WOWing me... We walked into this one, that we weren't even suppose to see, and I was like ohhh crap this is IT! Except it was $200 over what I wanted to pay, so the lady showing us said, the owner is outside go talk to her... I didn't want to, I thought that was rude... But we did go introduce ourselves and she is so nice... So we go to leave, my hubby and I both get in the car and both go, I LOVE IT! I told him what the lady said, and he's like I"ll go talk to them...so he did, and so if we do the yard work ourselves (yuck...but I will) they will knock $150 a month off!!! WOOHOOOO!!!!! It is by far the coolest house ever. The floors in the master bathroom are HEATED... who needs heated floors?? I DO I DO!! Okay i don't... but we looked at other houses for the exact same price and they were all cookie cutter and boring. I wish ya'll lived here so we could have a pre-disney cruise house warming party. I'm so excited. I mean we still have to put in the application and get final approval, and pray that everything with jobs works out...but still...SOOO Excited!!!

OH... I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited for you. I really wish I was there to celebrate with you. I am very much a house person... you know those people that just look at houses for the fun of it. I would help you clean, and move, and put up curtains and stuff. That is sooooo cool.

Well since we can't have a pre-cruise party, we will have to just ace a major party on the cruise! The beach was great today but it is now storming and that wasn't in the forecast at all for today. Not even like a 10% chance. Oh well.

And yes I am resting up. Kiddos are in the other room with their grandma. They want to sleep with her and I'm not arguing.

Ready for a quiet weekend though. We have had something for the last two weekend and have a scheduled meeting with my sons birth mom and birth grandma next weekend that requires about a three hour one way trip. I really am ready to stay home for a weekend.
