I heard that Earl was leaving then DH told me this morning that it slammed into NC. What's going on???

It didn't hit the NC coast too bad. They got a lot of wind and rain on the coast, but the eye of the hurricane stayed about 50 miles off of the hatteras coast. I don't know for sure, but I think they lost one of the old fishing piers on the outter banks. They weren't expecting it to survive based on its age and decay already.

Where we live, we had some rain and wind, but have had thunderstorms that were worse...

From the news this morning, the ones from Massachusetts (I think I messed up that spelling) need to pay attention now, cause it was heading due North, which puts it in that area.

Now, heading to the doctor to get my leg checked again. I'll email you a pic Jackie, I'm not posting it up hear.. yuck!

that's me- I'm in Mass...I think they are calling for to be down graded to a cat 1!!! and it's seems to be a little slow getting here. But we're all ready, yard items put away. I'm about 15/20 mins north of Boston, about 5miles to the coast, so we're in the moderate range....hopefully it will stay out to sea!

It's Friday and it's a long weekend! yeah!!!

as for meeting up, not sure... since the cruise is a surprise for the kids they would really wonder why I am meeting up with a bunch of strange people to take pictures...

As for the costumes they will be reused on the cruise for pirate night!

I have no idea what we are doing the last night other than a reservation at Artist pt. but if it works out maybe several people can check out the Lodge and then it's just a boat ride to the party.

Ok, I am kind of freaking out. I got an e-mail confirmation from Disney saying my dining is MAIN~?~??~

Isn't that early dining!?!?!?

I'm going to call them at 9am on the dot. This is messed up!!!!

Does anyone know if Main means the early dining?!?!!!

I am soo pissed off right now! Not a good way to wake up on a Saturday!

Yes main is early dining but you can get that changed easily. They did that to mine on that cruise too. I just called my TA and said "uhhh I didnt ask for first dining" she said "ok" and changed it.

I need to call disney to see how the reservations are. I hope nothing has changed. I am pretty sure your reservation is connected so there is no reason why you would be changed.

I think they switched everyone in our group or Late diners to Early!!!!!!

If you can, I would call them and check on it!

Eoghan and I prefer the late seating anyway as at home we never eat before 8 or 9 and I also booked Palo based on the late seating, plus all of you guys! Eesh!

OK I just called and the DCL rep said that we have 10 reservations all linked together. She said about half are second dining so everyone check your dining rotation and make sure you are eating at the time you want to eat.

Everyone will have to call on their reservation and call their TA or however you booked it. She said that she cant change the seating herself and she also had to have the people with the reservation to approve it. I guess they think that main dining is what everyone wants.

Hi everyone! Long time no see! I'm still working such crazy hours so it's been hard to catch up on here. Let me just say vacation can't come soon enough. I'm flying out in 25 days ...not that I'm counting or anything.

Anyway I hope you all are having a great saturday. Sadly no long weekend for me. Gotta work monday but at least I get paid for the holiday plus time and a 1/2. That means more money for Disney! And our stores remodel should be done by friday if everything stays on track! Enjoy your weekend everyone!!!!

Ohh and my dates are actally Sept 29th (night before the cruise) staying at AKL.

Then after the cruise 3-9 at Pop.

Oh and I'm doing the wishes dessert party on the 4th. I think there was someone else doing it then too.
