Disney Wonder - Sept 30 2010 3 Night Bahamas

Our room number is 6087. I think that puts us right in the mix of the party.

As far as getting to the port. we fly in the night before and I rented a car to go from airport to hotel to port. The cost of the car was $53 (plus gas) which is certainly cheaper than disney transport would have been. We drove it last time & it's an easy drive, plus this way we can stop & shop; I'm hoping we can carry everything on the plane so we may need to stop & buy sunscreen & the likes as well as I'd like to have some adult beverages for my room. I went through Budget (who have a drop off close to the port & an easy shuttle) and I used the code from Mousesavers (I can get it for you if you need it); cheaper to go direct than through Kayak.com and we didn't think we needed the experience (which is certainly a reason to go disney transport).

Hi hi... It's friday, and my day off!!! WOOHOOO!!! I'm busy doing some house packing, so we can be ready to move in 3 wks! Holy Crap, that is sooo soon!!!! So excited though, just gotta make sure I leave all my FE gifts and vaca clothes where I can find them!! AHAHAHAH, otherwise life unpacking will be more than stressful!!!!

What's everyone up to this weekend? I'm working all weekend of course. Just scored some free tickets from the mall for Clint Black this weekend, not a huge country fan, but hey I'll go to a free concert!!!

Our Stupidness for the day: Jeff and I were having a conversation about the problems we had getting the time off work... in SEPTEMBER... right in front of Emma. I didn't realize it until he said "September". Emma always pays attention, thank Goodness she wasn't this time.

Jen... my boss said that as an "unwritten rule", managers are not to take off for vacation after OCT 1 until after the new year. It is possible but very highly unlikely.

Good news on the back of being broke... I was able to pick up an 8 hr shift tomorrow so there is a little bit of money.
Now do I get something I wanted for the cruise, pay Emma's school fees (what are they going to kick her out???), or pay for my eye exam and glasses???

Weekends are hard for me to be near the computer. Nights are good, but days I need to sew sew sew! I feel like I am slipping behind. I have moments where I think "ahh we are good!" Then I think about all the stuff I have to do. I havent even done the shirts yet! uh...I gotta go work.

We went out of town Friday night and Saturday. We got home last night, and I hit the bed rather than the computer. We went to Great Wolf Lodge (which is a family friendly resort that has a huge waterpark inside). We had a visit with my son's birth family. Between that, school starting back, end of month meetings, etc., it has just been a busy with not a lot of time for DIS. Leaving in about an hour to head back to my church because we are having family movie night, and serve on the youth committee which sponsors it.

But, I am BEYOND excited about this cruise, and my official one month mark was yesterday, the 28th. WOOHOO!

Ya'll have a great afternoon and hopefully, I will be on later tonight.
