Speaking of EBAY - I got the cutest pirate costume for Lucas in size 18 months so that he'll be decked out for pirate night. MY DH and I are still deciding if we are going to make it a family thing.

Ebay rocks! I booked our cruise 2 years ago. While I've been trying to patiently wait I've done some DCL shopping via eBay. I bought the plush DCL ship with the beanies, and an awesome black carryon DCL tote bag. I do a lot of WDW pin shopping on eBay as well. Unfortunately for me, the funds run out before the eBay auctions/ideas do.

Okay so I sorta flaked out, in light of returning from Europe and moving down here.
I think the DCL Dolphin Excursions are booked.
And.. I would go back and look at the companies everyone talked about using a lot of pages ago, but we've only got Dial-Up right now (Hurricane knocked out our Satellite Internet) and it takes FOREVER for a page to load with everyones pictures and tickers and such. Anyone able to let me know who they used so I can try to book it? It's something Michael really wanted to do and I really hope I can still pull it off...

Check Goodwill too. Its hit or miss, but I found two normal length shorts at 1/2 price.
:confused3 I am so overwhelmed at Good Will and Salvation Army :confused3 . So much stuff in a small area and not well organized--CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!! I hate it. DH says that the way I shop is SEARCH AND RESCUE. I know what I want, go in to the part of the store where it should be, get it and get out. If it is not there, I get out anyway.

PS: another scar, in a way, is the donor site for my skin graft, but it is not lumpy or ugly, it looks like a "rectangular window birthmark."

I am trying to find culottes--with a waist band and belt loops and wide around the leg and about knee length. That is what I wear almost all the time but especially when I am working (homecare pediatric physical therapy). No luck at Kohl's. No luck at Wal-Mart, but my shopping buddy found a skirt she liked. I got a new comb and some salad.

I used to love wearin culottes!

I'm sorry but I LITERALLY laughed out loud when I read that you went shopping and all you got was "a new comb and some salad" :rotfl: I have definitely had that kind of shopping day before!

:rotfl2: :lmao: There is nothing that will stop me from enjoying drinks at the pool ;)

I'm pretty laid back when it comes to stuff like this. We have several meets planned and I figure I will see you eventually. I have no problem giving you my room number and then us meeting up. For now I am on Deck 2 and I doubt that will change. What deck are you on? Our Nassau excursion isn't until 1:30 so I will have most of the morning free. Plus I could meet you in between dinner seatings as well.

I'm on Deck 7 and I'm making door signs :woohoo:

I think our Nassau excursion is in the afternoon also, but I think we want to try to look around and see the Straw Market and stuff in the morning.

But, like you said, I am sure we will see each other at a meet or something.

We are staying at the hotel at the airport that disney puts you up at .... regence hyatt? or something like that. disney air is bringing us in the day before (I am crossing all my fingers and toes that we get in early enough to make it to WDW, I have never been there before (well never even been to Florida for that matter!)

Anyway I don't care if we only get 4 hours in WDW, I am going to ride on Dumbo come hell or highwater! And I LOOOOVE Winnie the Pooh so eating at Crystal Palace would be great.... hmmmm I'm getting giddy thinking about going on vacation and I got distracted....arrrrrrrrrrgh where was this going?

oh yeah.... so we are taking the disney bus from the airport hotel to the ship so I'm not sure when we will get to the port, so I think there was a Meet set up for before we board? so not sure if we can make it but I will try and I will carry my treat bag things in my carry on just in case!

Now I just have to figure out what to bring!

Man I'm So tired, the too tired to sleep kind of tired. So I'm sitting here, needing to sleep but can't! arrrrrgh.

Coming on here and thinking about the cruise and Disney makes me so happy. Its nice to think about going on the trip and getting to do fun things I've never done before. I'm really looking forward to just hanging out with my sis and laughing our butts off!

I love reading everyone's stories and trip reports and what's goin on in your lives. My life is pretty boring but I just thought I would share a story from my past.

Its a little story about nuthin at all. Nothin relevant, or life changing just a little disney related story.

My family was fairly poor when I was a little girl and my parents saved and saved and scrimped and saved and finally we had enough to make the long trek to Disneyland. We were so excited, this was our first official real vacation, with a hotel and everything! No tent camping for us this time, it was restaurants all the way, and best of all we ended up at the happiest place on earth! :goodvibes

We were soooo excited, it was over 20 years ago and I can still remember parts of it as if it were just yesterday. Most of the memories are happy, VERY happy, of course.

But I DO very clearly remember running up to see the Dumbo ride, my most favorite favorite character and what do we see? Fantasyland under construction!!!!!

Oh dear it was nearly a scene from National Lampoon's Vacation. If my parents hadn't taught me to "be grateful for what you have because so many people aren't as lucky as you" I probably would have had a fit! :sad1:

Its hard to stay sad at Disneyland though so I'm sure we just trekked on and rode Big Rock Thunder Mountain for the 100th time. :teeth:

I was such a lucky kid and can't believe what great disney memories we made as a family on that trip. I can't wait to make more memories on this cruise, and hope to someday be able to have kids that I can ride on Dumbo with!

Hope you guys have Disney stories, memories you'd like to share too....

(especially if they involve telling me what it is like riding dumbo :rolleyes1 we never made it back to disneyland and I've never been to WDW so feel free to tell me how boring the Dumbo ride is, and how you're sure I didnt miss anything and its not nearly as great as I think it is.....) siiiiiigh

We don't have a Kohls.

I would like to find some cute casual capris (not denim) but right now it's not in the budget.

I found a great Disney Hawaiian type Shirt and another yellow type hawaiian shirt at our local thrift store $3 ea...As much as I hate to admit it, each year I go there and get some gently used clothing for the trip. I generally don't wear stuff like that, so paying a reduced price for one or two time use satisfies the "accountant" in me....

Here is the link to Shuttle launch schedule and infomation someone asked about
http://www.nasa.gov/missions/highlights/schedule.html

Only 61 days until we leave for WDW !!! :yay: :cool1:

Wake up! Wake up! Orlando Bloom's going to be on Good Morning America this half hour!!!!

I tried to PM this to you but your PM box is full. I used Shore Trips to book my excursion:

I booked the Dolphin Swim through Shore Trips. You can just call them. No need for fast internet service. Here's the number 888-355-0220

The swim is $175 per person

Awesome! Thank you, I will keep that in mind!

I love how we inspire each other to shop!

At least I know its not my computer. I am going to Party City today for something totally unrelated to the cruise so I will let you all know what I see and what I am considering. I got a Palo reservation but it is 9:00 at night. Oh well! At least I got one. :thumbsup2

I managed to get the parasailing booked and a massage for Michael. I'm glad I did him first, I don't know if I'll be able to get one for me!

I thought about doing the Metabolism thing, too. Sounds interesting and not too outrageous. Anything heard anything about this?

I saw something on that on another thread? I can't remember what they were saying but I thought someone was complaining about it though. :confused3
