I managed to get the parasailing booked and a massage for Michael. I'm glad I did him first, I don't know if I'll be able to get one for me!

I thought about doing the Metabolism thing, too. Sounds interesting and not too outrageous. Anything heard anything about this?

Piecey and Momof2 princess: princess: ,

What is the metabolism thing???

I think it is something about they teach you different ways on how to make your metabolism better so you burn off weight faster. But dont quote me on this. I did not pay a lot of attention to it on the other thread. Piecey might know more about it.

if this works, then this is the thread where they talk about being disappointed with the metabolism thing. have to scroll down to #8 before they start talkin about it, but then it goes from there.

its under the Thread titled, Your Biggest Waste of Money on a Cruise... if that tells you anything....

We are doing the parasailing too!!!!

My daughter watched this documentary on sharks not to long ago. Maybe you guys saw it. Now she keeps saying do they have sharks? She will be 10 when we cruise. I just kind of ignore it. Have you guys ever run into this problem? I booked the banana boat ride for the three of us. I just hope she will enjoy herself and will want to snorkle and swim. I would not have had her watch it but it was one of those things she was watching before I realized what it was about. I think it was on the Discovery Channel.

I want to give everyone ample notice. I am cutting off the opportunity to link with other DISer's on July 15th. That gives everyone two more weeks to decide. No pressure. Join if you want. It won't hurt anyone's feelings if you don't. :sunny:

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Yay! I'm very excited. We booked the earliest one so we could spend the rest of the day lazing around on the beach :goodvibes

What time is everyone doing the banana boat excursion?

My kids are afraid of sharks too, but seemed to be ok once we got to castaway cay and we told them there was a big net protecting the beach area. The commercials on tv for the movie poseiden (sp.?) freaked them out too. Not enough to not want to go though so it's all good :cool1:

We live near the beach and the shark thing is always in the back of our minds. Especially when we get the shark attacks from the Panhandle in our headlines. My kids (especially the 6 year old) always talk about how the sharks come in to feed in the evenings so they tend to stay out of the water as the sun is setting. I try not to make too big an issue out of it but it's always in the back of our minds. :rolleyes1

Anyone else doing the stingray excursion on CC? We're doing it from 11 - 12. We love visiting the rays at Sea World so we're really excited to be able to get in the water with them! :cool1:

DH and I, and the other couple we are travelling with are! We're at 10, so we'll probably be snorkeling around while you guys get started.

I'm so glad they have this excursion available (and reasonably priced too!) because while we really enjoyed the CC snorkeling last cruise, the thought of roaming around the same area this time seemed a little dull.....so now we get to snorkel in a NEW location, with RAYS! Which is just too cool.

That's great that some of you have the same excursion times. :thumbsup2

I managed to reserve Michael's massage. And the parasailing and the metabolism thingie that I think I'll probably cancel. I try back daily for more but can't seem to get it to work.

We're going to Epcot Monday!! And then hopping over to Magic Kingdom to ride Space Mountain and watch the special fireworks. Ahhh gotta love living this close to Florida.

I think we are doing it at 11:30. I figured we could do it and then have lunch. The stingray thing looks really fun. Thanks everyone for posting about your kids being afraid of sharks. I think I will just keep doing what I am doing and not make a big deal about it. My DD is a true daredevil so it caught me off guard. She goes surfing on our coastline. The documentary had alot about Florida in it though. :thumbsup2 I am getting more and more excited everyday we get closer. :cool1:
