O.k., confession time. You know when I meet you I'll be lunging to hug you all. I'm a huggy kind of person so if you don't want one, let me know. I just cannot wait to meet you all. :grouphug:
Can't wait to meet you, too! :grouphug:

Nite Tae

Adaptation 1
Lullaby and goodnight
With roses be dight
Creep into thy bed
There pillow thy head
If God will thou shalt wake
When the morning doth break
If God will thou shalt wake
When the morning doth break

Lullaby and goodnight
Those blue eyes close tight
Bright angels are near
So sleep without fear
They will guard thee from harm
With fair dreamland's sweet charm
They will guard thee from harm
With fair dreamland's sweet charm

Adaptation 2:
Lullaby and goodnight
With roses be dight
With lilies bedecked
In baby's wee bed

Lay thee down now and rest
May thy slumber be blessed
Lay thee down now and rest
May thy slumber be blessed

I can't wait until tomorrow is over. It's been a crappy week and I am over it! Uggggh! I hope the weekend is decent!
I know the weekend won't be decent for me. :sad2: I'll probably be crying when my parents leave on Sunday. :guilty:

Thanks! I'm very lucky!

I think Conor's finally asleep. I don't hear any coughing. I hope this cough doesn't hang on forever! Ick! :sad2:
Ugh I hate forever lasting coughs! When I develop a cough it usually takes a month to go away completely. :sad2: My one friend made me take cough syrup one time it was so bad (I reaaaallly hate that stuff!). He told me he'd hang up the phone if I didn't take it. :guilty: :rotfl:

Me! I can't! Though, I see that the navigator says that we'll be ashore at approximately 9:45am. Does that mean I have time to drop stuff off? Does 9:45 mean that that's the time we can start going through whatever it takes to get off the ship? Or does it start earlier than that, and 9:45 is what they estimate is the time we can get off if we start the process right away? I can commit to dropping off my stuff at 9:00am if we don't start standing in line until 9:45. Who knows the answer to this one? :listen:

Dawn
Are you doing an excursion?

Nope, Alex. I have a feeling Michael is in the "just friends" category

Yes, Michael is in the "just friends" category. I guess he used to like me (waaay back when I first started at BK) but we've just evolved into friends.
He's one of my best and I'm one of his.

this is funny, my ex-husband is 6'2 and i'm 5'3, it was never a problem, I loved that he was so much larger than me.

As for robbing the cradle, when we got married he was 26 and I was 32.

I don't think the reason he left me was because he was tall, or because he was younger than me.

Despite his breaking my heart :guilty: ..... we are still good friends and talk nearly every day.

I would still go for a tall guy and wouldn't care if he was younger than me, but since I'm 34 now, 16 would just be too wrong. :lmao:

good luck with your crush Patsy!

I don't have the crush! (Not yet anyway.. :rolleyes1 )
I honestly think what you guys did is 100% okay! 26 and 32 is a lot different than 16 and 19.. just because of the stages in life we're at. In my opinion anyway. He still calls his mommy and daddy and tells them he might miss curfew and I don't even have to come home... :rotfl:

Tonight wasn't so bad, he just teased me a lot...
If I didn't work with him, I'd keep myself away but it's sooo hard because I work with him everyday.. the exact same shift it seems..

Yeah, but if your 17 year old daughter was dating a 19/20 year old man, would that be a problem?

My husband was 25 when I started dating him at 18...but I really think I'd freak out if my daughter did that.

Dawn

Thats what a girl at work said.
Shes the one who first told me she thought Alex liked me and I was like "Oh, no.." because I'm pretty bad about getting caught up in a guy's attention.. :guilty:

I told her I couldn't do that because of the age difference and she was the first to point out that in the way society perceives things it'd be a lot worse if he were the older one. In this case, she claims, his dad will probably be like "You go, son!" But his mom would be a little tougher to win over.. :lovestruc

:cool1: :cool1: whoohoo!

haha my favorite line from last night when i was hugging my boy goodnight... 'i like you holly'...'i like you too'... 'yeah there really is no good response to that one' :rotfl2:

Haha, nope! I never know what to say when guys say stuff like that and tell me I'm pretty or something. I'm always like.. :lovestruc and dumbfounded  You'd think I'd eventually get the hang of it but I haven't yet.. Maybe I should go after Alex.. him being 16 and all I might learn a little something.. :rotfl:

Have I mentioned that I LOVE the name Alex? I don't know why but I always have. My barbies would be named Alex, Alexia, Alexa, Alexander, Alexandra... I'm a freak.

Hi everyone! :wave2: Back from a fun-filled night at open house at Conor's school! :thumbsup2

I am 5'3" and Chris is 6'2" and I am 9 years older. So...the moral of the story, go for the tall ones and ROB THAT CRADLE! :lmao:

Wow, I guess this wsa the place to come for support if thats what I wanted.. You guys are telling me to go for it and I'm not even sure there is anything to go after!

Sooo Lisa.. you're a mom with a kid almost Alex's age.. you'd be okay with him bringing someone my age home?

Wow, now that I'm all smiles from all this Alex talk..

I'm going to get off of here and go talk to Alex on instant messenger ;)

'Night everyone.. sorry all my posts have been replies to those that said something pertaining to the only thing thats been on my mind today.. :-P

I gotta work at 9AM and he'll be there at 11 so the saga shall continue...

Are you doing an excursion?

Well, not really. We want to do the pirate museum, and then my husband is dying to go to the straw market and haggle  and then we have a 1pm reservation for the dolphin encounter, and somewhere in there we have to eat and locate "authentic" Bahamian food for my husband. If he gets sick from it I'm leaving him in the dust.

I figure that if we don't start lining up to leave the ship until 9:45, then we have time to do goody bags. But no one answered my question  so I haven't got a clue...
