yeah! i used to think people on cross country were crazy. and i always hated running. probably because i was 'good' at it by default from swimming. i was just in good shape. so in middle school all the gym teachers were always telling me i should run track in high school. i was like NO! i am a SWIMMER! then in college i dated someone who did cross country and track and i thought they all were crazy. now they think i'm crazy cause i've done a marathon and they haven't :rotfl2:
yeah... it's tough to do. you have to be mentally there and tough. you can't give into the pain. you've got to push yourself. (helps i was a 200 butterflyer so i know a lot about pain and what certain things take) but it's definitely mental. if you think you can do it, you can do anything.

wow, 200 butterfly? I couldn't get across the pool in level 3 doing the butterfly, I kept sinking. If I even tried doing it I'd sink to the bottom of the pool. *glub* glub*

You must coach this to my children! They don't seem to believe it when their parents tell them this. :confused3 :rotfl2:

glad i'm not the only one! of course it might be because i sat for almost 2 hours in one of my accounts catching up with one of the old bartenders and having a beer. must have made it feel like the end of the week :rotfl2:

Well, now you can re live Friday all over again...can we say, Groundhog day?

Disney wonder cruise mini running camp, I love it! :thumbsup2

I just have to brag about this thread.

I've been working on a thread reunion for my 2004 cruise. I looked at who all to invite and there was only 1 page of cruisers. I know we made it to over 3,000 posts barely with three stragglers (including myself) who refuse to kill the thread). So, since the birth of our 10,000th+ posts and three pages worth of DIS cruisers I am thilled! I am happy to report that I look forward to having a thread reunion with you all, but at the rate we are going, this thread may never completely die even after the cruise.

Just because the cruise will be over, don't quit posting. I need some way of coping with post cruising WDW blues. I hope to hear about every one's future current events too like our now pre cruise discussion. Just because the cruise is over, doesn't mean this thread has to die.

O.k., I'm stepping off my soapbox now. No, wait, maybe I should stay on it to look taller! :cheer2:

Look at this, I've been posting to myself!

He really is! I am so lucky to have him. None of my kids have ever had a babysitter. I always say that the boys are the only people I trust leaving Teia with.

I'm seeing a lot of flat ballet type shoes out there. I need height people! I'm just getting comfortable with chunky sandals. :duck:

What great sons you have. Hope Conor is resting now. Poor guy.

O.k., confession time. You know when I meet you I'll be lunging to hug you all. I'm a huggy kind of person so if you don't want one, let me know. I just cannot wait to meet you all. :grouphug:

:surfweb: getting ready to log off. Post you all tomorrow!

I love flats but I have been trying to get used to chunky shoes, too. They look dressier.

Thanks! I'm very lucky!

I think Conor's finally asleep. I don't hear any coughing. I hope this cough doesn't hang on forever! Ick! :sad2:
