I've used Nature's Miracle brand odor remover for cat smells, and it's worked very well for me. Didn't Mythbusters do an episode on skunk smell? Did anyone see it and remember it?

ETA: I found a website with cliff notes on the episodes...here's what it said:

"Removing skunk odor with...:
Tomato juice: plausible
Beer (MGD): busted
Douche: busted
Hydrogen peroxide + baking soda + liquid dish soap: confirmed
Commercial skunk remover: confirmed (not as good as custom mix above) "

So there you have it!

Rink smells waaaay better. His head still stinks a little but I cut off most of his fur in the areas he was sprayed. It helped a lot... since his fur was about 3-4" long the smell didnt really get the fur underneathe or his skin, thank goodness!

Well, keep in mind that I don't have any idea what the homeschool laws are in your state. But I have the most success when I keep a diary--just jot the date, what you did and times.

Help me I think I'm cursed!!!! Yesterday-used Nair on my leg and got a chemical burn. Not very bad but still. Found 3 pin holes in the waterbed. Came down stairs today and found pieces of a mouse. Went to Walmart-forgot my drivers license and credit card (already packed for the trip) and as we pull into the parking space the brake pedal goes to the floor-NO BRAKES!!! DH worked last night and was home sleeping had to wake him up. Bring the 2nd car and take DD, Ginger and me home he waited for the tow truck-thank god for AAA tow only costed $18.00 for 12 miles on a flat bed!!!!!! TAKE THE CURSE OFF PLEASE!!!!!! WE LEAVE IN 2 DAYS!!!!!!!!

Yea she was a bit confused when Rich pulled up beside us!!!! This is only the 2nd time I ever used AAA. The tow was only 18.00. You should have seen that guy take the car off the flat bed and PARK it!! Perfectly with NO Brakes!!!!!! I was impressed!!!

Thanks Patsy! You should ask your friend if she had Lionel as a lab instructor.....though he's not so much in the labs now as he is in the online stuff. I'm willing Gustav to stay away. NO MORE RAIN!!!!

Oh gosh Vicki...when Kayla finds a *new* movie and watches it, when it ends she says "watch again??"
The best was we took her to see Wall-E. She got restless at the end (predictable) and wasnt even paying attention and was crawling all over us. Then it ended and she said "watch again??" We had to say sorry kiddo...but we cant!

When Amanda was little we would watch the same movie over and over. We watch Cinderella everyday for 6 months!!!! It got to the point we could pick out bloopers in the movie!
