I jumped in at page 22 and because Tae Ja went back to page one and commented on so much I feel like I am getting into the swing of things anyway.
I reallys should be writing update reports on three of my kiddos but DISing is so much more fun.
Lovely ring Patsy!!
Tae Ja--thanks for using REPLY when you post so I get to see what you are commenting on.
As far as people and their advice, I think sitcoms and soap operas are partly to blame. In 30 minutes the problem is solved. Some main catch phrases are
"Get on with your life."
"I know how you feel." and
"I will make sure nothing bad every happens to you."
What stupid statements.
When I lost my Dad the best advice I got was
"Don't be surprised if it hits you when you don't expect it and you start crying." and
"If you didn't cry, it would mean that he didn't matter, and he did."
I also refuse to say "I know how you feel." Because there is no way anyone can do that unless they are living in your skin.
Hang in there Tae Ja and if I can help, give me a call, I'll come right over.
