Disney Wonder - October 14, 2012 - Hawaii

I do wonder if the ship will be full or not.. seems like Hawaii is being downplayed.. maybe that is why they aren't going back in 2013?

Just had a look on the website and it appears all Cat's are available so maybe. Good news when we want to book excursions and Palo:rotfl:

Has anyone started to look at trips? Any tips for Hollywood tours? Trying to get organised :yay:

:welcome: on board Brian, Marsha & Duffy :dance3:

nope..but 2011 was Friday nite..so I am hoping for the same in 2012..
fingers crossed ..i am planning on Friday MNSSHP and Sat for hoping to DL and DCA..looking forward to see Carsland..

Taking it you can do both parks in one day then? Go to Florida every year and have never been to CA would be great if we could do both but also don't want to rush and miss things :confused3

Too many things too little time :scared1:

LOL! Thank you Michael! :) I meant to say Palo dinners. Oops! We just LOVE Palo!!! I'm hoping to go twice! Too funny!

Can't wait to see everyone! We booked our flight last week! Yay!

Welcome JoAnn and Joe! It should be a great cruise.

I think on the 14-day cruises they serve dinner every night! You shouldn't have to miss a one!

Woo Hoo!! Bienvenidos!

I figure that i will see a lot of DL during MNSSHP..so DCA and DL on one day is doable.. ( plus I have been to DL/DCA before..) I am looking forward to seeing Carsland

To be honest, I would say "1 day = 1 park". Just so you don't have to rush.

Just like I never plan a trip to WDW and going to the parks less than 2 weeks (2days - MK, 2days - EP, 2days - AKL, 1-2days - HS). Kinda depends on where you stand on watching all the shows available and do want to try all the rides one can ride, plus shopping and eating. And those times I gave for WDW would cut out a number of shows at WDW.

An alternative is you might want to check out a few tours. These can give you a taste of both parks in a short time frame and in a way that won't feel rushed. We've done this at WDW when we were only going to be there a couple of days.

:thanks: to you both looks like we'll have to do some serious research and make some decisions.

At least we have some time to get to know the parks :surfweb: before we arrive :rotfl:

Wow. We are such a quiet group. Not much going on here or on FB.

I really excited about this cruise. I'm ready to go into full planning. Anyone with me?

I'm already planning our pillow case and magnets. Thanks to Auntie Lynne I am searching for patterns to make some outfits for my group. Have to look good for those boarding pictures. I thought I would have the guts wear solid coordinating polo shirts and us women wear a dress, skirt/skort and jumper in Hawaiian print.

I'm trying to sort through shore excursions to see what we want to do on our own.

Hard for me to plan alot right now because DH is still working out of town (mostly since fall and until the end of April- he gets to come home one weekend a month.) I'm trying to gather info so we can get the planning talks going while he's home the end of April and May which is plenty of time since we can't sign up for excursions until June. We will only have a half day in S. Calif. on each end of the trip so I don't know if we'll go to parks or just hang out. I do have friends from another site that will be having a meet at DL before we leave so I may try to meet up with them for a meal though.

We're with you! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Trying to plough through all the websites :surfweb: for our different options. Thinking of a tour around LA for one day, one day at Disney then we know we must visit Pearl Harbour but there are so many options it's hard to make a decision :scared1:.

We'd love to hear about your thoughts on shore excursions :) This weekend is taken up with family visits so we won't make much progress!

for anyone doing any planning. We like the look of the Pearl harbour / Circle island combo but the timings are out.

 If anyone else likes the look of this tour and wants me to enquire if they will do a "special" for 25 (the max amount of people in their buses) of us let me know and I'll get in touch with the tour company. If we can fill one bus they may work out a special tour which removes a couple of stops, or each stop has shorter timings so we can still do it given that we don't dock until 7am and leave at 3:30pm. We may even fill a couple of buses :yay: and have our own dis board trip!

Hey, gang! Saw the first page post about the Facebook page but couldn't "join" on Facebook. Clicked on the "Ask to Join" button but my click didn't seem to work.

Can I join y'all there, too?

Michael

I would be intersted in this tour. We are 2 adults.:goodvibes

We would also be interested in this tour. It would be for two adults. :)

Husband can't get off the Friday before, so thinking flying in Frid night and staying @ Disney Fri/Sat on points (if they have anything available.. can't book till March)... but would be interesting to do an LA tour..

As for the shore excursions, was sorta waiting to see how the April people liked what was offered.. guess that cheating, but why not!!

Have we decided on doing anything like a champagne get together.. or something like that.. I would be interested in that.. not sure how to get it going though.. I know someone mentioned a palo.....get together.. we still considering this?

Have we figured out the shirts?::woohoo:

Sure someone has suggestions about the islands.. I know I want to do the helicopter tour on one of the islands (husband bucket list).. but not sure about the rest.. need to research.. but open to hearing what everyone else is doing..
