I am so excited for this cruise. Hopefully the weather won't be too bad departing. It is supposed to rain Thanksgiving, so I think or hope it should be clearing by the time we depart.

Hi all, I finally found some time to look through the forums on here and was very excited to see this thread. Too bad I couldn't get on earlier to start planning sooner. With a week left, we (Wife and I with our 3 kids DD(7),DD(5) and DS(1) are super excited to be going on our first Disney Cruise!

I remember seeing a post on going to the PV Zoo. Does anyone have more details about transportation and how far away it is from port?

The zoo is about a 20 min taxi ride from the pier. We were told about it in march when we docked in PV, but already had plans for the day. We are thinking about it this trip.

I know my children will want to swim in the ocean and Cabo is not the best place for ocean swimming. If we go to the zoo we can't do the PV ocean. Still deciding.

What about the cabo beaches are bad? I know for sure that my kids want to hit the beach. So in that case, we may have to pass on the zoo this time as well, although the animal encounters there sound very unique.

Most Cabo beaches are not swim able . They are very dangerous. Even if you just touch the water with your toes you can be pulled out. The beaches that are designated as swimming are still dangerous for children. You can be swept out easily. It can knock a large strong man to his feet.

PV is the better place to swim. We have a great place walking distance from the ship, but we may want to try the zoo. I wish we had 2 days in PV and only 1 in Cabo.

Wow, that is such great information, we had no idea the beaches were that dangerous. Well, we will be sure to avoid them, but what else is there to do with kids in Cabo for 2 days?

I agree, it would have been ideal to have 2 days in PV and only 1 in Cabo.

Thanks for adding a bunch of names to the deck list I posted! Making my packing lists this weekend and buying last minute things I realized I don't have. Finished making FE gifts yesterday! Can't wait to deliver them!

My name is Suzie. This is our 3rd Disney Cruise. A friend told me about the message boards. I thought I would give it a try. Please let me know about the fish extenders. I saw them on our last cruise. They are really cute! Just found a seller on Ebay who personalizes them. My husband and I are sailing with our 5 year old Haylee and 2 year old Mattison. We our counting the days. So excited to be going on the Mickey ship again! Hope to talk with you soon!

Hi Katrina, going back through the posts I found this one from Suzie giving a least her 2 daughters names. For some reason reading one of Nuckles posts it appears he knows Crazy4DLC but they haven't listed any names either.
Hope the additional two names helps a little and maybe we will get there cabin # soon

Hello everyone..I just got off the ship..You are all in for a treat! It was awesome and the staff is amazing!!!!! If you have any questions please feel free to ask...I will try to check back in frequently
BTW I have three kids 13, 9 and 8 and we swam right off the beach in Cabo, Medano I believe in the roped off area it was beautiful. My kids even snorkeled right off the beach it was beautiful and completely safe as long as you stay in the designated swimming area. We rented an umbrella for the day for ten dollars and had the perfect beach day
