Disney Wonder May 25th, 2008 Double-Dippers check in here

Lucky you :goodvibes - but now I'm wondering where are mine?????? :confused3

Did you go through a TA or did you book directly with Disney?

Our TA said that she would get the docs and then forward them to us. Now I am really excited for that package to arrive.

I went through a TA, but these came directly from DCL. I have already completed the online forms, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with getting them early.

We went through a TA but have not completed the online forms.:confused3 I would think UPS is on their way!:goodvibes

My cruise docs came today! Woo-hoo! I wasn't expecting them for another 2 or 3 weeks. I just walked out on the front porch about 15 minutes ago and there was a little package from UPS.:cool1: Just a little over 5 weeks to go!
We got ours just now!! Woot! :dance3: We went through a TA too.

Wow only five weeks to go! Time to actually stick to my weight watchers program if I'm going to get down to where I want to be (so I can gain it all back on the ship!!). I wonder if our TA will send the documents here, she hasn't really said a peep to me since getting all of our money.

I'm wait-listed for second dining, I probably should email my TA and pester her to work on us getting main dining. I don't see how my five year old (tomorrow is her birthday, where does the time go) is going to wait until 8:30pm to eat and go to bed at 10:30pm or later! At home she's already in bed by 8:30. :confused3 Even on vacation we don't let Isabel stay up past 9:30 if we can help it (unless we're going to the PPP party or MVMCP!).

Hi all! It has been awhile since I've been on. I am hoping we will get our documents soon as well. And I haven't even begun to think about packing. I've done some shopping for the kids, but dear hubby and I haven't had time to think about ourselves. I am planning a new kitchen and it will be installed right after we get back and that is taking up all my time!

My daughter is checking on the teen thread, but hasn't reported much going on. Any idea if we are gonna do a meet and greet? I think that is the only way my teen daughter will feel comfortable hanging with the others in the Stack - if she meets them formally first with all the families together. We have a few weeks, but I'd feel better getting some of the planning out of the way. Some of you Disney cruising pro's - any ideas?

Hi Everyone,

We will be on the 5/25 Disney Wonder cruise - my dh and I, 3 children (2 boys, 7,8 one girl 5) and Nana. I have reserved one room at the Comfort Suites in Nassau, which will give us Atlantis privileges for 4. As there are 6 of us, I was wondering if anyone might be interested in sharing the cost of a second room.

My kids can't wait to go on the cruise, and are also looking forward to Atlantis. Has anyone made reservations at the adults only cruise restaurant?

We will be in cabins 5138, 5140.

Hi Everyone! I am so excited that I can finally say our cruise is next month! We booked it in February of last year, so I feel like I've been talking about it forever. I recently started shopping, buying new bathing suits and "summer clothes" to wear on the cruise. I'm thinking about buying a snorkel and mask, too, to use at Castaway Cay...haven't decided yet.

I would love to do a "meet and greet" at the Hyatt the night before and/or onboard sometime during the cruise.

We're staying at POFQ before the cruise, but I would like to meet fellow Dis cruisers onboard. This is our first cruise, so I'm not really sure where a good place to meet would be. Hopefully, some more experienced Disney cruisers can come up with some ideas.:confused3

I'm still waiting for my docs. I'm hoping that there are others who have not yet received theirs. :confused3

We went through a TA and I have already registered us on-line - just need that UPS truck to stop by the house. I actually got really excited earlier this week, I saw the UPS truck on our street, only to see him go to another house.

Who is waiting somewhat patiently for my docs;)

Welcome to the Dis Boards and to the May 25 cruise. I have a ds7 so I'm glad to see that you have boys that age - looks like they will be in the same club.:)

Friendly bump and intro...

One month and we are on the Wonder! WOOHOO!

I have been in lurker mode for a while, but I figure it is time to jump in before it is too late.

We are also on the 5/25 double dip wonder cruise. (2 adjacent cat 11's, deck 6 aft)

Paul (me) 34
Rebecca (DW) 29
Alexis (DD) 4
Anya (DD) 1+
Kenny (DFiL) age 52 (?)
Sue (DMiL) age unknown (dont dare to ask LOL)

We were originally planning on the June 1 double dip, but we had to cancel that one and we were fortunate enough to get booked on this one.

We are flying into MCO from Albuquerque on 5/24 and staying the night there (hyatt...love the Gov't rate!) , then FLTours private shuttle to the port on 5/25. Have 1 day at WDW (that's all the time we had available) on 5/29 and then fly back on 5/30. Planning on one day at MK for the kids. I know one day definitely does not do WDW justice, but we make it to WDW and/or Disneyland every year for the kids.

On prior cruises, deck 10 port side (not necessarily the port side of the ship...the side of the ship next to the port...)for the sail away party was a good spot for a meet. Since this is my first cruise with the kids, I don't know if I will be able to be there for sure. The kids will require maximum flexibility on scheduling. Other meets have been held the same general area at about 3 (1 hr before muster drill?). That gives time for a meet and greet, but still allows people to do their own thing for the sail away party. Thoughts?

Paul

Welcome Aboard Paul!!

Brenda - we haven't gotten our cruise documents yet so I am patiently waiting with you . I am trying to bide by time wisely and called the Radisson at the Port this morning and got us booked on the free shuttle to the terminal. I read on another thread that you could book the shuttle in advance now and did not have to wait until checkin so I decided to try it out and see. They took my name and the number in my party and put us down for the 10:00 shuttle :woohoo: so that is one less thing to have to remember for later.

I'm still waiting (anxiously) for ours as well. The Fed Ex truck pulled up yesterday and I got excited, but it was just a package for my husband. I don't remember how we got our cruise docs in 2005...do they always come via UPS?

Update: We received our cruise documents just now from UPS - err, well DD and I did!! DH and DSS are booked in another cabin and theirs was not included. At least the girls will be allowed to board the ship :rotfl2:
