Hello, I am going to be booking a room for four people for March 2017, and the only rooms available are near the Edge Lounge. I'm between booking room 2073 or 2573. The other ones available are rooms 2101/03/05. Any recent reviews on these rooms? I'm pretty concerned about the noise since 2073 is one room away from the Edge Lounge and rooms 2101/03/05 are apparently underneath restaurants? And I read somewhere online that Deck 2 is problematic because of the noise but some older reviews said they didn't hear any. This is my first cruise and I've been put in charge of booking the rooms so I don't want to mess this up. Thank you!

Well, I just responded on the other forum you asked. But I'd go with the 2101/03/05 rooms, if it were me.

We love deck 2.

We, too, LOVED Deck 2! We have sailed twice on Wonder and stayed on Deck 2 both times. I am the type of traveler who is bugged big time by noise, so I understand your concerns. We didn't get to pick our cabins either time. On our second cruise, imagine my dismay when I learned we were assigned the cabin right when you come off the elevator!!!! I just knew guests would be loud and stand around talking right outside our door. Not to mention my concerns with items being taken from our FE. All of my fears were unfounded! We didn't hear much at all! Our FE overflowed each day also, so not sure if anything was taken or not but it didn't seem so. After saying all of that, I would choose a location away from Edge if possible. It seems like the restaurant noise would cease before the kids going in and out of Edge. Good luck! I would sail again on Deck 2 anytime!

After the Magic's last dry dock, Edge moved from Deck 2 to....Deck 9? I can't remember exactly. Anyway, not sure if there are any rumours or not about Edge on the Wonder moving at dry dock. So it may not be an issue?

Our very first cruise we were 4 doors down from the Edge entrance way and had no issues whatsoever. We had a 2 1/2 year old with us, so were in the rooms quite early in the evening, and there was no noise that I can recall.

We stayed in cabin 2072 in 2014. I am a very light sleeper and never heard any noises from the club or from the elevators. I liked being fairly close to the elevators and the laundry room isn't too far away either. I really enjoyed opening the curtain in the morning and having a wonderful view of the water.

We were Magic 2075 - shared a wall with Edge before the reimagine. When they were having dance parties in Edge with loud music we could hear it in the hall, but not in the room. We were happy with the room. Since Edge opens into the elevator lobby, we did not have any added traffic down the hall from the kids. Might be a nonissue if Edge is moved during dry dock. Good luck- we liked the location.

Thanks for all of your help and input! Now I feel better and less anxious about picking our rooms. Tbh, I don't think we'll be in them a lot other than sleeping late in the night since I'm hoping there are lots of activities to do for adults (from what I've read). This will be our first Disney cruise so we're all excited.

I would pick a room 2105.. Your closer to the aft elevators which are never crowded. I believe you would be under the promenade lounge. I havent booked an inside room, but that is my favorite area to be in for an ocean view. Between the mid an aft elevaters, but closer to the aft. The edge is likely to be moved during the the refurb.

I recently stayed in 2098. I loved the location. I will forever ask for this room or a room close to it. It was close enough to the aft elevators to be very convenient and out of the way enough that people weren't passing by unless they had a room there or were using the laundry, which was just a few doors down. So, I'd pick whichever room was closet to 2098.
