Disney Visa returned payment ?

I was stunned to see my visa payment had been returned today May 12th. I made my payment online May 8th. I deposit my money in bank acct on the 5th. Plus there was a 29.00 return fee. I called but there wasnt any info why it was returned. The girl said tomorrow there should be some info.

I made a 1215.00 payment using one bank acct on May 5th and it cleared.
then i signed up another bank acct on May 8th and made another payment of 312.00 and that one was returned just today. The girl checked if it was the right acct and it was. My bank acct doesnt show any problems but the $$ is back in the acct. My payment were both made online. Anyone have any problems like his????

It maybe got rejected because of the 3 day rule. You can only make payments to your accounts every 3 days. If you would have made it on the 9th, it wouldn't have bounced back.

What is the "3 day rule"?

I have made online payments within 3 days of each other; in fact recently I made a payment one day and another payment the next.

Oops! Sorry, just realized that you are referring to the Disney Visa - mine is a visa, but not Disney.

Ok, I found out what it was. I used my credit union acct. When using the acct the bank only uses the checking number minus a few number infront of it and one on the end. I didnt add those numbers beause i didnt know i needed those numbers. Visa told me credit unions have smaller acct #, so the extra numbers must be added for online checking. I called the credit union and they said when dealing with the union just use the 8 number acct number and when dealing with anyone else use all 14 #. Chase was really good about it and took off the return fee and told me not to worry about it and just resubmit using the extra numbers.
