Disney Vacation Aaccount and Rewards Credit Cards

I am curious if anyone has any issues or experience using a hotel/airlines rewards credit card to deposit funds into a Disney Vacation Account? Did the "deposit" go towards points and/or the minimum spend amount?

I'm not sure what "minimum spend amount" you are talking about, but I used a Capital One card to make an initial payment to establish a Vacation Account and got my regular Capital One points just like any other purchase.

Thanks. By "minimum spend" I am referring to that initial hurdle spending amount you have to achieve to get your bonus points. Like spending $3000 in the first 3 months, etc.

My experience was that it was treated like any other normal purchase. Hope that helps.
