Disney trading pins

Oh how annoying! We wanted to order from them, but we are not going until September, and not sure I want to pay the customs charges *** I've no idea how much they might put on top.

All Star Paul quoted £12(on 50 pins) in post #4, I believe we were charged around the same.

I get mine from a seller on ebay. $1.89 per pin, just tell him how many you want and he'll guarantee no duplicates. You can also request a specific pin and if he has it he'll send it. Likewise, if you order from him again, you can name pins you really don't want.

His name on there is vipblast. I'm not sure if you can put links on so I'll just say you'll find him if you type in 'DISNEY Trading Pins Make your own lot size WDW DLR Pin'.

I think my last order came to £16 for 10 pins after shipping which I think is a bargain. Cheaper the more you buy. All pins in individual bags and perfect condition.

It's a shop, not a personal seller, with over 14500 feedback.

Couldn't pay £3 for a pin unless it was something special, I am too tight:rotfl2:. We have 500-600 pins in collection, would have cost me a fortune at £3. Ones we bought from Pinfinder worked out at about £1.25 each(bought at $2/£1), thats enough for trading for me.

You wouldn't like DLRP then- the cheapest pins there cost 6 Euros! :lmao:

Actually, I paid 10 Euros for one when I was there the other week, however it is LE and very nice indeed.

I am hoping to start trading this holiday with my boyfriend and hoped to purchase a starter set to give as a holiday present amongst some other stuff. Is there anywhere that is good value and easy to deliver to the uk?

We order from PINFINDER too. Just a heads up re customs charges, as pinfinder don't charge postage you are able to order them in small lots if you have a while before your trip and then you won't owe any customs and excise duty. (Having said which my dd has become an American girl addict over the last three years and the customs and postage charges are more than the darn dolls!!!)

As for the price of pins if you collect anything that is great but my DS collects themes - he collects the 'special' pins for the time of year we are there - Thanksgiving, Easter, Presidents Day, Veterans Day etc. and they are generally $10.95 a time.

Out of interest, has anyone been recently, since the UK stores started doing pins? Are the private traders going for our UK pins? Hoping I can maybe pick up a few of the £3 pins here in hopes to trade for some of the rarer pins that they usually want stupid money for (ie 5 new LE pins for 1 random pin!)
