Disney Tours

Ok,
So I decided to take my DH on a tour for his b-day. I just asked him if KTTK was ok, or did he have an idea for something else. Actually, he is the money person for this vacation, and I KNOW we are doing well in saving, but I didn't know how well.
Getting to the point....he doesn't want to take a 7 hour tour, but we REALLY want to see inside the HM. Is this possible?!?

Please help make our dreams come true!

Just got back today and we did the Keys to the Kingdom.....My dh and dd did the 7 hour tour a few years ago and comparing the 2 they would go back to the 7 hour tour. I picked the KTTK because the 7 hour was booked.

KTTK - it depends on the tour guide and we got one that was just ok. If HM means Haunted Mansion - yes you take the ride but no you do not go behind the scenes. Alot of the information shared could have been done in an auditorium setting......again it was the tour guide because we have read where other people just LOVED it. We felt that we wasted 4 1/2 hours.

Of the two spend the money and do the Backstage Tour.........it costs alot and takes alot of time but well worth it.

We just took the backstage magic tour this week... and it was ok. Two years ago I took the KTTK tour and I think I enjoyed it more... We did see a lot more this year... but I felt like I got more information/disney trivia out of the last tour. I think there's so much to do and see in 3 parks that everything is just quickly skimmed over.
Don't get me wrong... we really enjoyed our BM tour... but if I had to pick one over the other... I think I would chose KTTK.

Chrissmiss... I'm sorry that you didn't get to take the BM tour... we called Monday afternoon and took the tour on Tuesday. I guess we were just very lucky!

Thank you miste76 and chrismiss56 for the info. I am still trying to decide so any further help with the tours- ANY tours would be greatly appreciated!!! I want to book the tour soon!!!
