Ok, I am booking Happy Limo for my DD and GF from roundtrip from Airport to POP to avoiid Mears haslle for their Jan trip.

They are planning a l day trip to Universal midwekk. Mears is $l4 pp. cheap. vs town car for $60.

Any good reviews on trip from Disney to Universal with Mears?

We used Mears for a day trip from ASMu to Sea World, one year, and had no complaints.

We called Mears the day before we wanted to go to Sea World. They told us the different times they pick up. We told them which time we wanted. They were on time.

On the return trip back to Disney, the bus driver asked us when we wanted to be picked up, from a list of scheduled times. We chose which time. He gave us a business card with their phone number on it. If we decided to change the time, we had to call them, two hours or so, before and let them know. We did end up calling and changing our pick up time. It didn't take us a long as we thought it would to do Sea World.

We had a little wait for the bus back, but nothing to complain about.

I would definitely use Mears, for this again, if it were cost effective.

I'm sure it's the same way for Universal.

A couple years ago a friend and I used Mears to go from CBR to Universal it was fine. Like Dopey Sharon said we just called the day before and they gave us some times and told us where at CBR to meet them and then when we wanted to leave Universal we just called Mears and they came and got us. I would do it again it was cheap and easy!

I've done Mears from Ft. Wilderness to Universal and it's fine.

We used the accessible van. They arrived at Ft. Wilderness right when they said they would and gave us a card. We called them about 2 hours before we were ready to head back. They showed up exactly on time. (As a matter of fact, they were early back to Universal, but parked in a holding area until exactly 7:30 when they pulled into the lane where we were waiting.)

I called Mears to take 6 of us to SeaWorld from OKW. they were supposed to pick us up at 8:30. We showed up at 8:25, waited until about 9:00. When no one showed we asked the bell captain if he could contact Mears for us. He said someone from Mars had come at 8:15, waited abiout 5 minutes, didn't ask him to call anyone and then left. He suggested that we take a taxi, since with 6 of us it would be cheaper than Mears. We took his advice and it was the best thing we did1 Our driver was great and showed up right away. So if you use Mears just make sure you are there very early!

I've used mears twice, once to go from Disney to SW, the other to IOA (two differant trips about 3 years apart). Both times was fine. The only hitch was the 2nd time we did it, going from WL to IOA. Mears was 15 minutes late, and I was getting nervous when a town car with a Mears license plate pulled up. I thought I'd go over and ask the driver if he knew anything about it and he said "Oh, I'm your ride, the bus is running late so they sent me over!" So I was happy even though it was little late, we got a private towncar for the same rate as a shared mini-bus. I figure the time we saved not picking up anyone else made up for the lateness!

Basicly, I'd say use 'em if you don't have to be on-time for something.
