Why does it have to be such extremes...Dont book ADRs. I mean it has already gotten to the point where we book much fewer as it is, and we were booking the places without CC holds more and more. Why cant we express our dislike of this new policy, let WDW know as well, and maybe if they see a decline in TS revenue maybe they will realize this isnt a good move, or if they have enough complaints bc people want to switch or cancel and cannot, they may change their mind. Or when everybody calls suddenly with a "sick" kid bc they will waive it then. People are going to work the system no matter what rules are in place, if they want to bad enough they will find the loopholes.
And why should those of us who enjoy flexibility be "banished" to out of the way restaurants. We all paid money for this vacation, we should be able to tour in a style that works for our family.
To me WDW could have come up with more guest friendly solutions to the no show dilemma, esp with the new technology in the works. They choose instead to stick it to their guests, MANY who were not abusing the system.
I can easily take my vacation dollars somewhere besides WDW as well. I rather not but if they keep taking away the ease of how a vacation is suppose to be than it may come to that.
