I really hope this is true. I'm one of the ones that has not purchased a copy of the Star Wars OT since the early-90s re-release re-mastered in THX.
The whole notion of Hayden Christiensen being green-screened into Return of the Jedi in place of Sebastian Shaw to represent Anakin at the very end always really bothered me. Plus, the fact that A New Hope won an Academy Award for special effects. Effects that were later edited out in favor of "improved" ones.
