SO are we not supose to link our hotel reservation at all to my disney expeirience? I am having a hard time getting ahold of anyone from the disney allience. They only have 4 of us for our room instead of 5. Its very frusterationg to call or email and get no response!Ok Im done venting now!

I was told by a planner on the phone not to, but in an email she said she didn't know why it wouldn't link, but to not use online check in. So I guess it will depend on who you ask?

honestly I am more worried about the fact that they only have 4 on our reservation not 5. Hopefully they get back to me quickly. I hate being a pain but they are stressing me out!! So were you able to make your adrs without it being linked to the website??

I called to make my ADRs, I couldn't link the first half of our trip so I couldn't get the 180+10, they booked them for me over the phone. I got called back pretty quickly when I called but the emails have been slow

We loved it there! What else do you have planned? The Mara is great and so is the pool. They have such nice people working there.


We got all of our info this week.

Were going May 31 to June 8th

Our Hotel was our second choise - Yacht Club June 1-5

May 31 were at AOA (our cost) then POR June 6-8 (Our cost)
Extra room were $130 plus tax and $147 plus tax - per night

Our flight were right on time that we asked. Were flying US Airways.

We've only flown Southwest, anyone have any tips or help on that airline?

We may do the Universal trip with free bus ride that the owners of the boards offer. We did this before with out the kids and it was a great service!

I'm curious what your first choice was, did they give you any reasons for why you didn't get it? I'm kinda Blown away that everything is just on gift cards, and really excited about it. We will probably do something at the spa but it won't all be spent at the spa.

I didnt even ask about the hotel. I knew by checking online it was already booked in full. Its all good, I love the rooms!

I had to book a dinner and several spa treatments. So I really dont know if we will be able to use those for other things or not.

We have booked the hoop dee do as part of our package, but I've only been told to book my own spa because of how personal it is. I wasn't told we had to book it, the signature dining they said we only had to book if we wanted something that was prepaid, otherwise we would get disney gift cards to cover it. I'm interested to hear how it really is once you arrive and get everything.

We picked a dinner at Narcoosse's. So I didnt know how that would go. $480 for dinner...... That's a month of food around here!

Thud... I'd never spend that on a dinner!

Have you looked at the spa prices? Oh My goodness! $800 didnt go far!

No 800 doesn't go far. We will only be there for 6.5 days or so, I'm having a hard time making room for the spa. We would like to do both water parks, but that's proving to be difficult too. I want more time, but 7 days away from the kids will be long enough.

There's never enough time... there just isnt!

We've never taken the time for the water parks. But were going to try,

We put a the spa day on our sleep in day.

The kids have never been in June so I have to slow down some or they will get ugly on me fast! They are 19 and 15 and I swear they were easy to get along with when they were little.

6.5 days is a great time. Have you been away from the kids that long before?

Now that they are older - I really wish we would of taken more trips with out them..... Now I'm old... LOL.. not really.. but that after 40 stuff isnt fun!

Were trying to walk 3 miles a day to get in shape. I swear I feel like doo doo and DH is like,,, oh I could walk forever! Whatever!

Honestly though, we walk over 10 miles a day at Disney. Good shoes and a month of work out pays off!

This will be our first trip without the kids, and first time away from DS I think. We have had a night away, and the girls have sleepovers at my mom and dads all the time.

I work in retail and often put in 10,000 steps or more a day so I think I will be ok, DH is in management and spends a lot of time at his desk but he did well at DL.

I am still not sure I can believe this will all happen, still feels unreal. Hopefully it will become more real once a few of you are home. I would never spend this much on a vacation, if we stayed on site it would be a value not deluxe. I'm planning on some Christmas shopping with the gift cards, and a splurge for myself of a tinker bell pendant I saw at DL in feb.

I think all of us parents need a break! Its so nice to not be Mom, boss, Cheer Mom, Dog wrangler, cat chaser, dish washer, laundry godess... ect, ect!

It really is unreal. I said to myself it wasnt real till I had plane tickets. Well I have them now! I did find out it will cost me $200 for our suitcases! Were just so tight with money!

I really want to buy myself someting nice too. Your tink pendant sounds nice. I never buy anything for me. I'd like to get a purse, but then I'd never carry it!

The values are pretty nice! Our last kid free trip was at Pop and we loved it. Its not Vegas nice, but it was super clean and cheap and we were never in our room.


I'm printing off my Crowd Calendar days from Touring Plans tonight. They are awesome and worth every penny!

October? That's such a great time to go too. Are you planning on doing the Not so scarry party?

Its really pricey, but worth every penny! I'm really tight with money but my 4 kids had a blast trick or treating ,dancing and seeing the parade! I would of paid way more!


I just had to stop freaking out about this trip! I swear I wasnt sleeping. I'd wake up and swear it was all fake!

I like to ramble on too, so I'm happy to hear it. We don't go until October either, we can count down together kirby. we are definitely doing the Halloween party, it was the reason we chose October. We are waiting on passport info from our friends that are coming with us so our flights aren't booked yet.

In Canada all of our luggage is in the price, but our prices are crazy. Our flights to DL from Canada were about $1000 more than driving over the boarder, it was worth the 140 for luggage.

Holly Smokes! Canada isnt really that far! That is some big bucks.. Eh... Just kidding! I've traveled the world twice around but never made it to Canada. We went to the falls, but I dont think that counts.

I own a toy store and started another online store to make some extra spending money for this trip. Its okay work. Pays the bills and then some. DH and work togther, so that's nice. We only have one left in school, she's 15. So its nice to be able to be at everything. She really doesnt need us much anymore. She did let me know she's going to the Magic Kingdom by herself. (faint)


The Not so scarry party really is fun. The Christmas party is great too.

Wishes Dessert Party was really fun too and I thought it was a good value.
