Basically, Disney have introduced Magic Your Way (MYW) tickets. You can buy 1 through 10 day MYW tickets and add certain options to them (park hopping, plus visits (Water parks, Disney Quest etc.) and non-expiry).
They are similar to the old Park Hopper tickets, except that unused days on Hoppers necer expired whereas with the MYW tickets, you need to pay extra for a non-expiry option. You also pay extra for the ability to park hop.
The advantage, as far as I can see, is the more days and more options you buy, the cheaper it is in the long run. For example, I think a 10 day MYW with 5 plus visits, hopping and non-expiry works out at about $24 per 'day', be it day in Disney or day at a water park/Disney Quest.
Does that make any sense at all?
