It's a horrible cell phone picture, but I was unable to use my camera because the battery is dead. I plan on taking a better pic tomorrow with my actual camera and I will repost.

Everyone's tattoos are gorgeous! I'm envious!

Since most here seem to be experienced in the area, I'm very seriously considering getting a very small outline of a (non-Disney-related) wire hanger right on the back of my neck, under my hairline, as a symbol of my love of fashion and my passion for modeling. I'm putting it in this location so that I can easily cover it, and it wouldn't affect 99.9% of modeling jobs there. Most tattoo artists said it'd take 5-10 minutes tops since it really is so very tiny. It would be my first tattoo. I've had appendicitis for 5 days, and all four wisdom teeth pulled out while I was mostly numb but conscious - but I'm still a pain wimp!

I've seen many people say it's "annoying" or like pinches/scratches, but has anyone any advice for being tattooed there specifically? I'm pretty frightened because touching it, I can still feel my spine!!

I don't even have my first tattoo yet, and I'm already planning a second - a polka-dot Minnie bow on the inside of my left wrist!

Having just gotten mine it really doesn't hurt as much as you would think. I compare it to having a bad sunburn and then having a cat scratch it really hard. After a while my leg kinda almost felt numb. Something small shouldn't be painful and if it is then at least it's only 10 minutes of pain and not an hour and a half like mine was.

The bigger issue pain wise is the location. I know sensitive areas (Side of body) and directly over bone (ankle/Wrist) can sometimes be more painful than other areas (such as arm/leg).

As for the back of the neck, I honestly can't speak from experience since my tattoo is on my arm, but since you are just talking about an small outline type of ink job, It would probably be doable since the artist might be able to either get it done quickly or in short little spurts so you can let the pain ebb a bit. I think the most pain normally would come from the coloring in process since they have to constantly go back and forth over the same general area which can cause more irritation.

I can tell you the back of the neck is not that bad. I have a tattoo there which I recently got. It's big-ish for that area, and took all of 10-15 mins and honestly as not that painful. Pain is temporary anyways. :thumbsup2

This is a much better picture of my new tattoo and you can really get the full effect of the colors and see how bright they are. The white areas still look a little pick and that's just because there is still blood really close to the surface and it will go away once the tattoo is completely healed. We'll see how it heals up and if I have to go in to get it touched up.

I'm planning a second cupcake, this time themed to the Wicked Queen from Snow White. I'm going for a good vs. evil type thing so we'll see how that goes.

This took my artist an hour and a half and cost 150 incase anyone was curious.

That is AWESOME! Very feminine and very Disney!! And only 150?! That's a steal!!! :scared1: My little one on my neck cost me $80! And it's ALL BLACK! I think I got ripped off!!

SafetyPinndSally - I love it! I love how original it is, and how sweet and girly!

To everyone else - thanks for all your advice/opinions! I am so scared of needles, but they said they would be able to do it quite quickly since it really is just one bent line. We will see! If I go through with it, I'll show everyone! But in the meantime, I still love looking at all your gorgeous art.

You can do it! I promise! I'm a big chicken as well....and I finally got brave enough to get one done this summer of my twin boys names in between my shoulder blades (not small either) and it wasn't really all that bad and I'm dying to get more! Just need money!

Go do it! You won't regret it and likely you'll wonder why you were so stressed about it and didn't do it sooner.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the minnie cupcake!! I wanted to do something Minnie-esque as well, but I can't think of anything.

I'm considering getting a disney tattoo, what do you all think of this design?

I was thinking something like this because I love retro Epcot with the logo in the middle surrounded by the purple cog on the outside to represent CoP.

Very Cool! Where are you planning on putting it?
Probably my ankle, still haven't decided yet. Just putting some serious thought into it and came up with a great design and had to share it with you guys!

This is a second story window across from the jungle cruise in DL.
I figured those of us on this thread would appreciate it. :)
