Disney Tattoos

I've always been interested in body art. I've loved the way someone can take a needle and ink and create a masterpiece.

I've wanted a tattoo for years now, but I guess I'm sort of chicken of needles completely. My dream of being a Face Character comes first in my mind, and I don't want a silly piece of ink to take that away from me, if opportunity and luck ever arises.

So my question is simple : What is a part of your body (apart from bums or chest areas) that isn't visible in FC costumes?

I want a small Mickey head outline or a Disney D, in blue ink, not black (cheesy and typical, I know!)

A bigger tattoo choice I wanted (but which is not good for someone dreaming of being Friends with Ariel) is "part of your world" tattooed on my ribs. Of course, I'm holding out big-time for that one, lol!

Any suggestions/ideas/comments?

This is a much better picture of my new tattoo and you can really get the full effect of the colors and see how bright they are. The white areas still look a little pick and that's just because there is still blood really close to the surface and it will go away once the tattoo is completely healed. We'll see how it heals up and if I have to go in to get it touched up.

I'm planning a second cupcake, this time themed to the Wicked Queen from Snow White. I'm going for a good vs. evil type thing so we'll see how that goes.

This took my artist an hour and a half and cost 150 incase anyone was curious.

Here's my biggest suggestion...if you'd equate your tattoo with a "silly piece of ink," DON'T get one!!!

That being said, I once had a "no tattoos" job, and I airbrushed them for work (two were visible in every day clothes). If you'd rather just have a hideable tattoo, just look at Ariel's costume, and you'll know exactly what is and isn't visible.

I have been wanting a tattoo for a while but I am torn between a mickey and sunflower which was my Mom's favorite and she passed away last year. The only thing, she hated tattoos so I am thinking that would be disrespectful...hmm.

I know a tattoo is forever and that's why I'm not rushing it! I could have gotten one two years ago had I really wanted to, but I'm waiting.

Don't knock my use of "silly piece of ink"! In the long run, if I did get a FC job, it would be silly in the end if it prevented me from the job. My future is more important.

Trust me, right now, I'm just looking around, getting advice and considering everything. I know I'm not ready for one yet! Doesn't mean I can't talk about it though.

The tattooos do mean a lot to me. I'm taking my time. No rush here!

Kidding...... The star - my girlfriend (in sig pic below) wanted us to get matching Tattoo's. I was down.... another g/f and I have matching foot tattoo's. But the 2nd g/f really liked those trail of stars, so many people have (like my Mickeys) - I didn't want that.

So, I said I'd get Mickey's, she can get stars and we could swap one Mickey for a star and vice versa.... I told her that from a distance, they'd look the same. She said that would work for now, but we'd need matching ones, down the road.

Hence the one star - and she's got one Mickey. This is her's:

[dream future here] If I completely all I could out the FC job, I know I would get the POYW tattoo on my ribs. I have so many ideas for tattoos I would love on my body, but just taking 'er slow. I'm not big on huge tattoo exposure so ribs, feet and bikini-line hips are what I would personally go for.

I was thinking of putting a little Hidden Mickey along the bikini line, and it actually seems like a pretty great idea for a spot now.

To be honest, I'm applying for Musical Theatre school right now. If I don't make it in, I'm applying for Nursing. My FC dream is still there, full swing, but if it never happens for me, I know I'll be happy doing nursing (labour and delivery). That leaves options open for more tattoos - a friend of mine has the exact same job and has shoulders, neck, wrist, lower back tattoos.

But yeah, I was just wondering some more places other than the chest where i could put a tiny tattoo (like, honestly, nothing bigger than 1 inch by 1 inch where you couldn't see it as a FC)...
