Disney Tattoos

I am working on my Disney Tattoo and was thinking of getting my Children's name in Disney Font with a Mickey Mouse head outline around the first letter of my Son's name and Minnie Mouse for my Daughter's with a few stars.

That sounds like a great idea. I have been wanting a tattoo, but I wanted it to have something to do with my kids and Disney. Please post a picture if you do get it.

the first tattoo i got was sorceror mickey on my right shoulder blade...my most recent was done @ the shop that's on "miami ink" - it's a pirate like the one they use for the POTC posters. it's my fav ride @ WDW. i changed it a little though - the headband is purple, my fav color...

Hello FmrCastMembr I have heard that Miami Ink charges about $ 500 per hour for a tattoo is this true? Thank you

Bumpity bump bump!! Lets see some more pics!! I am going in tomorrow to get the artwork started on my Walt siggy.. so get ready folks!

Wow! Did you see and meet "the guys"? Can you share a pic please.

I just wanted to chime in and let everyone know that I am LOVIN' these tat pictures!! I have 3 tats, one is tinkerbell on my left leg, a tiger lilly (the flower, not the indian princess :) ) and a heart with wings. as soon as I get pictures taken I will post them on here. I'm planning on getting more tattoos, but what and where I'm not sure yet. and to answer a fellow poster's question, I think that the outline hurts more than the coloring.

Keep em' comin!!

i paid $250 for mine. it would probably have been more if they were taping the show...

i didn't get to meet them cause they weren't taping the show at the time. i was only in miami for a short time, so i decided to get it done there anyway. i only have a pic of the tattoo, not of the shop and i still can't post attachments. i did keep the "how to take care of your tat" business card to prove i was actually there! the shop actually has a different name than miami ink. thats just the name of the show

Hey everyone. Since I originally posted my Mickey tattoo way back on page one I have since had my second son and my little family was abandoned (to put it nicely) by my now ex husband. When my divorce was finalized I got a tattoo to represent that drastic event. I got a butterfly to represent freedom and moving on, and the whole caterpillar, cacoon, and then butterfly analogy I thought just perfectly represented the stages of my whole divorce. Also, had the butterfly put over my heart, and facing outwards because it was time to move on with my life and seek outwards. And being the Disney nut that I am, the kanji underneath it is for "imagination". :thumbsup2

I put it as a link cause it is on my chest. It's a modest shot but I didn't want to step on any toes. :confused3

sorry to hear about your divorce :sad2: but the tattoo that resulted sounds awesome! I clicked the link to see it but got an error message. :confused3

I have four tats. Two of which are Disney related. I had a Tigger holding a Thistle on my shoulder that had to be covered up (a lot of scar tissue). I have a Mushu on my leg, and planning more.

I have Frank from the Rescuers Down Under on my ankle as an ode to dh who's name is Frank

Heh, DW, who is opposed to tattoos in general has given me the OK to go ahead and get one that is Disney related! :rotfl:

Just have to tell you all that this is my FAVORITE thread!

I just got a Disney tattoo a couple of weeks ago for my 40th b-day. (my third, but first that's Disney) It's the swirl Mickey that has been seen here before, but it's blown up a bit probably 3 inches across?), and there's three of them making a triangle. Each is filled in with a differerent animal print (Animal Kingdom is my fav) - tiger, leopard and zebra. I've been trying to post a pic, but I can't find the directions and my search isn't working. :confused3 As soon as I figure it out, I'll post it!!

The closest I've come to a Disney tattoo is the temp. tattoos they have in the parks.

In December I had Tinkerbell put close to my ankle...I thought I was sooooo cute. The CM that did it was adorable and said it should last 4-6 days just enough time to finish out our trip.

Anyway they need to come with the warning if you are experiencing your own personal summers they "melt" away by the next day.:cutie:

To post pictures...set up a free account on www.photobucket.com. Upload the picture of your tattoo there. Once you have done that it will give you four different codes listed under the picture. Copy the text next to "IMG Code". Then come over to the Dis and paste the text that you coppied from photobucket into a new post. Viola! :thumbsup2

Hope this helps :goodvibes Can't wait to see the picture of your tattoo!!

you should get a real disney tattoo so it won't melt :thumbsup2

Cool - thanks so much for the instructions! Here's my first attempt at posting a picture!! This is my new tattoo right after it was done. I need to have DH take another picture now that it's healed! I also want to have the leopard one re-done a little bit to have the ears swirl in more - they kinda look like horns! :rotfl:

I also want to have something added to the middle open space - maybe a Mickey head silouette?
