Not really. Actually it didn't process the order at all. In fact, it voided the order. That is why Disney has no record of the transactions or credit card number. The problem lies with the debit card. Whenever you are going to charge on it, it sends a request or hold on that amount to your debit account. It does NOT charge the card but just puts a hold on the money for that amount. That amount automatically drops off the card in a couple of days when no charge comes through. The same thing happens on credit cards but you usually never notice since it drops off by itself. With a debit card you notice because your money is tied up. That is one reason that gas stations often have a warning about holds if you use a debit card. When gas was higher, if you used your debit card at a pump it would put a hold of about $50 on your account. If you used that much when you pumped your gas, then you never noticed but if you only put a small amount of gas in your car, say $10, then you still had a hold on the card for another $4O. It's a problem with the way debit/credit card works not a problem with Disney's website. It certainly is Disney's fault. Their software processed 3 orders from the OP in quick succession after the order lagged. They should have either (1) warnings in place or (2) some kind of safeguard in place that doesn't allow for identical transactions that are so close together. For cripes sake, I can't make two posts on the DIS less than a certain number of seconds apart (I think it might be 30).
