Disney Store Sale "Update"

I purchased the lanyards for $7.50 and also picked up pins at 1/2 off on Columbus day. Today, I went back to see if I could get a few more pins and they had marked all of the 50% off pins down to $2 each plus the lanyards were $2 each also! I scooped up as much as I could for Christmas presents and will be returning the lanyard that I paid $7.50 for on Monday.

I just spoke with the DS and they said to bring in my receipt and they would do a price adj. if it was within 7 days. I bought 4 lanyards at 7.50 each - if they are 2.00 that is like getting 4 for 1. Thanks so much for the tip!

I was just at TDS this morning and got the last lanyard set that they had. BUT I did get a Buzz water bottle holder for $3.99. They had a bunch of stuff 50% off AND a bunch of things that have been 50% off for the pass two weeks or so are now 75% off. I got princess jewelry sets that were $12.50 for $2.99. Other things that I can remember:

Jessie and Cinderella suitcases
Belle purse set w/ hair combs, etc.
Several different lunch boxes

I stopped by TDS store today to pick up some pins, but at my store they are still only 50% off, not marked down to $2.

I picked up three lanyards and four pins for $2 each plus Disney Club discount. Even the CM's there were amazed that the lanyards came up at $2.

The only lanyard we had at our store were the very cute princess mini lanyard for the mindy dolls they were $2.50 with the 75% off I got two for christmas for Mindy & dd's new christmas present Penny who we got at 50% off or $15

Also picked up 20 pins for christmas 10 for dd & 10 for dh
may have to go back and get them more pins for next trip they both collect pins.

Also got princess items at 75% off
they had princess hair accessories in cute case regularly $12.50
I think that was $3.69
small princess nail kit w/very small nail polish & small lip stick for $1.99
Large size belle plastic purse/bag with 3 big size bottles (lotion & two others) for $3.99
stocked up on princess items for future birthday parties DD will be invited to

Just thought you would want to know for those of you whose DS say 50% off. I went to my DS, asked if the pins were $2.00 and they said no they are 50% off like the sign says. So I said ok. Well after the problems with the DVDs somehow I didn't trust their answer, especially since I was told the lanyard was $2.00. I went to purchase 2 of the $5.00 pins and guess what...they were $2.00. Just goes to show that it is better to try and fail, than to fail to try So the moral of the story is ...Get back to the DS that says 50% off the pins and give it a try

I guess it's back to the mall again. I just bought 20 pins last Saturday. But the way the boys and my husband trade them I may as well get some more.

I tried and my DS didn't have any signs up for 50% off of pins, I went home empty handed. After reading your post today, I said "into the car kids" and drove down for one more shot. No signs up at all. I pick one of the lanyard sets off and ask if it is ringing up on sale. She scans it and about falls over telling me "it is scanning at $2" . I bought 3 princess, 2 mickey and 3 Pooh "oink, oink". I am going to have very happy neices and nephews and my two kids will enjoy getting to pin trade on our trip that is just over a month away!!!! Thanks again for the info. I would not have thought to ask. Since I was there, I went ahead a picked up 3 DVD's at $10 a pop. Not very big selection but I was glad to see the new Ollie. Rescuer's Down Under was in the Sale section but did not ring up on sale ?, so I just put it back. I was getting such great deals as it was

Thank you so much for posting. I bought seven of the lanyards at 50% off just last weekend, and ended up getting a price adjustment today of $5.50 each!!!! What an awesome deal for my gift bags I'm making for all the kids that will be with us on our Christmas trip.

Wow7 lanyards!!! I need 4 more if anyone can get some. I called all of the DS in NJ and they are all sold out. I want to put my kids's AP in them at the parks in Dec. so they can hold onto them theirselves!! But with 6 kids I can't decide who to give them to, so since I'm not Solomon, help me out please. I'll pay the $8.00 and all the shipping and tax.

It does pay to ask. I went my DS and was told the lanyards were not on sale. After reading the posts here I went back the next day and ask a CM to scan a lanyard. Sure enough $2.00. I bought 3 for my DD and DNs for our Jan trip. Also for disneywith6kids, I'll check my store again today if I have time and see what I can find for you. Did you want the girls or boys?

You're so sweet--I have 2 girls and 4 boys. So far I have 2 of the lime green ones so I can give them to the boys or girls depending on what you can find. thanks again for the effort

The lanyards have been long gone in our local stores for a long time. They never made it to the sale. I did get the Toy Story Map/Card and the pins. The card says $8.00 but also rings at $2.00. I bought over 200 pins since we go to WDW 5 times a year and sometimes take our grandson, who also trades. He goes through about 10 or more pins a DAY, so during a 10 day trip, we're talking 100 pins for him alone.

Thanks for the Disney store sale update. I ran across the border to Buffalo and snatched up a bunch of DVDs and T-shirts for our first ever WDW trip in December. I also grabbed a cute Belle roll on suitcase that lights up. Even with the Canadian exchange the prices were excellent. I really, really apreciated the heads up about the sale from this posting.

Ps. I'm a newbie. Whats the deal with the $2.00 pins. Buffalo had a massive amount of them. I did'nt get any because I'm not sure what the trading thing is?

Disneywith6kids---- I tried my DS on Sat but they had pulled the lanyards because they should not be on sale so I was told. I have another store a little further away but with great customer service so I'll try there today.
